No, the condensation would allow the cans to keep the water from blasting in your face. When water is heated, it moves around really quickly, so the water itself turns into steam, that steam has a bunch of space between the atoms, so by the time it's ready to shoot out in the air, the steam is already cooled down by another cooler environment.
