These are also good but aren’t necessarily straight rhythm games, at least in my opinion.

Surprisingly good with a massive song selection. DQ version was nice as well, really a shame it never left Japan.
Wonder if the series will ever come back on Switch. Kingdom Hearts could be cool.

Doesn't qualify. It has elements but it's a puzzle game. The emphasis is on the puzzle not the rhythm.

It doesn't really work without the rythm, that dictates the pace of the game.

even with the great selection it had, i enjoyed the game so much i was actually happy to pay for the dlc and grab a handful of other songs, stuff like Nier / Chrono Trigger and other missing FF songs.

>get to the final final boss and the fresh hell it opens up right out of the gate
This game gave me an aneurysm but Im glad I finished it what a ride
