the game to kill wow will have to be something completely new and innovative, not just another mmo that is in anyway reminiscent of wow. perhaps some kind of actual organic fantasy life simulator, like a proper multiplayer elder scrolls game, will dominate. a natural progression of the mmo genre which feels like an actual place and blends singleplayer and multiplayer seamlessly.

My biggest problem with the game is playing Cleric and learning that the only optimal way to DPS was to be melee and get the macro set up so you just needed to mash a single key that automatically sorted priority and did the right skill that was available, because the Shaman and Druid souls had braindead gorilla-tier design.
Healing was cool, though.
