Wow, this is a good fucking game. The Switch got robbed. This should have been Kirby's HD debut and Star Allies should have been the mediocre sendoff to a mediocre era. I actually can't believe that they got so much wrong with SA that this did properly.

Based, PR is the best Kirby game of all time.

This game is miles better than Star Allies, hard to believe it's from the same team.

You know, it just might be. I liked Superstar DS, but this is just better so far. My biggest problem with the original was the forced co op shit which happened again in Star Allies
I feel like if you asked them to explain why it's better they either couldn't do it or would talk about the robot theming or something, I don't think they have it figured out.

The robot actually expands on Kirby's copy abilities in fun ways. The Allies are just shit that plays the game for you

GOTY 2016 desu

It's a better game but I prefer the gameplay and post-game in Star Allies more. If Robobot played like SA and had a Heroes in Another Dimension-tier campaign it wouldn't just be the best Kirby it would be one of the best action platformers ever made. Throw in Dream Friends and it's the GOAT.

If this and previous titles are to show, whatever game after Star Allies is going to be on the same level as DL2, Amazing mirror and PR as being a superior installment built on the work of the previous

to be fair, the robot gimmick and /m/ theme are really well-done

That's kinda how Kirby is done for each console now. First game is a tech demo, next game is the more refined installment.

My favorite Kirby game, it exceeded my expectations for once.

Adventure > Super Star > Planet Robobot

>Game tricks you into thinking Galacta knight is coming
>Dark Matter pops out

Fucking no. Stop pushing this mediocre game as the best thing since sliced bread.

>adofag
Get the fuck out borbs ARE superior. bitch.

I wish I could share you optimism, but something tells me that another Epic Yarn is in the cards.

>adobro jealous that his game got panned by critics when it came out.

You're going to have to be more specific than that.

Reminder that Kirby 64 is not a good game and people only like it because "WOAH I CAN HAVE A LIGHTSABER!!!!"

that's all I have for Robobot specifically

I’m only speaking the truth, user. There’s no need to get so worked up that your game is style over substance.

Are you mad that pix stole ado’s gimmick?

I felt like Robobot was just an asset flip of Triple Deluxe with a mech that really wasn't that central to the game. It's alright, but the best Kirby game, hell no.

I just like all of the Kirby games so far. I greatly enjoyed having the friends in SA and PR just pandered to my boner for mechanical levels from previous games.

Not him but I thought you brought up an interesting point. The way I see it, the game builds off of what made TD and RTDL good and goes nuts with a bunch of neat level ideas to craft some cool locales, boss fights that are both flashy and well made, and some fantastic music. I also felt that the Robobot was the least intrusive and forced gimmick out of all the Kumazaki games, with Star Allies being the most intrusive since it forced multiplayer way harder than RTDL ever did. It definitely reused the core gameplay of the previous two games but I feel like it sometimes outdoes both of them combined.
