They’re kinda cool because they’re so indecipherable. They’re like the cosmic horror of band logos, I’d say that’s pretty metal.

It's cool when you think it's like one band's specific sound and are hearing it the first time. Then you realize everyone and their mother has aped the sound and put out like a million songs worth of the same shit. Been listening to just about every subgenre of metal for like two decades and djent has to be the absolute most samey one I've ever heard.

Probably because the first one they released themselves and the latter two under a label.
