Kenshi deserves more publicity

good concept but it relies too much on mods (they don't do much) and needs more content. Its a really good skeleton right now.

Unfortunately, the devs are right, what Kenshi really needs is a Kenshi 2. Current Kenshi is a really neat RTS sandbox, but isn't set up to have an overarching campaign for factions to interact/shape the world against each other. It's like playing a snapshot in time where the social groups are challenging eachother in theory but not doing anything in practice.

My guess is more dynamic faction stuff in Kenshi 2, and the devs are afraid to break Kenshi 1. If any truly life changing gameplay systems and changes come to Kenshi to, will almost certainly be backported by devs or modders

It's a depopulated MMO with a half baked base building component.

I can't express how disappointed I was with the game.

lost a solid 2 weeks of my life to it and loved it. But every complaint is justified. Needs those mods to actually flesh out and make the mid to late-game fun and the engine is terribly optimized and built like a house of cards.
