The big axe-shit was his shikai, which can apparently cut anything. Him going full demon-mode was his bankai. Yachiru was his sword, I believe she was real because Kenpachi placed limiters on himself unknowingly and she was trying to help him get rid of them. Everything after Aizen's defeat was unnecessary. Turning the Garganata into a hyperbolic time chamber was stupid and annoying but even with all the stupid shit that lead to that point, Aizen's defeat was a nice wrap up to the series. Ichigo fully understood Zangetsu. He defeated the main antagonist. The Shinigami slowly faded from Ichigo's view and he moved on to a human life, only comforted in the knowledge that he'd see them again on the day of his death.

They just don't cause Tosh is a lazy fuck that was already getting lazier and lazier each week while Murata actually does do that but only for Fubuki and Fubuki has a certain aesthetic he needs to adhere to. Murata's work on ES21 had a bit of that but ultimately he was not the author unlike Kubo and naturally had to cater to what the writer wants unlike the relative freedom he has now with OPM.

Outside of WSJ you can count the less popular stuff like delinquent manga such as Worst/Clover/etc but again, they explore mainly the delinquent fashion brands of Shibuya instead of an overall set, but even then if you bothered reading Clover you'd recognize a shit ton of fashion similarities to Bleach pin ups but more rowdy and ya know delinquent-ish.

Yeah, it's an easy misconception because mangaka tend to NOT be normalfags, especially the shonen ones. Also gotta remind you that for stuff like Worst and Clover, their fashion while more specialized, is literally baked into the normal panels meaning that you see the fashion and how it changes, cause these characters don't wear the same clothes the whole time until say a time skip. They change clothes quite regularly, so you get to see a lot of it. But what about Bleach? Sure it's color, but do you see that high frequency variation in fashion? Of course not, it's only for occasional color pinups. Therefore it's really not fair to compare.

Like even Oda kinda has a bit of fashion sense, but because he always keeps it One Piece-ish unlike Kubo where his characters are set on Earth with a more 'realistic' aesthetic style, therefore OP characters no matter what their fashion in the pin up drawings will tend to look a bit more outlandish but sometimes you can see what fashion styles they are drawing inspiration from if you are familiar with nip fashion.

Overall, it's just a case that fashion = more work drawn, and mangakas have a lot on their plate already, let alone as I pointed out, most mangaka are not normalfags. It's a huge reason why most isekai beta MCs just wear a damn track suit.
