We already know it's a disaster, Grandia 1 is based on the shitty PS1 version and the Steam PC version of 2 is horribly broken audio sync-wise.

It gets better, they stole the (old) incomplete undub for PS1 version for the JP voices and thus it has the same bugs as that incomplete undub, such as half the battle lines and all the endgame lines still being in English even when using JP audio.

i've never played grandia before.... grandia 2 looked good but it's grandia 2... now that both games are coming out i'd really like to get into the series now.
