i unno, tekken certainly isnt an easy game and you cant really say one fighting game is expressly harder than another. Tekken is a knowledge game and you can have the best movement in the world and if you dont know jack shit about applying it in a meaningful way youre not a good player.

thats not what applying movement means. No tekken not even the tip top players know every move that every character has, what i mean by applying movement is that at a certain level people wont be going for super unsafe shit so you really need to understand how to turn something like a 10f jab into a launch punish with a sidestep a duck or a backdash.

You can only rank up, not down. If you lose a match, it does some algorithm that prevents you from leveling up again for a set period of time and/or a set number of future wins.

Some games do that. Killer Instinct, for example, I believe you can't downgrade bellow your current rank. There's a bar that fills up when you win and depletes when you lose, but you'll still stay within your rank no matter how much you lose.

This is correct. Bronze, Silver, and Gold ranks have 1000 points that you need to gain to access a promotion match to the next tier. Killer tier doesn't have a point cap, just gives a star to anyone in the top 32 players at the end of every month.

The only ways to de-rank are by requalifying and setting yourself back to the bottom, or not playing for an entire month, which will knock you down one rank.

Keyboard probably is the best peripheral to play the game with. The only potential issue is you can't go to tourneys with it.
