Post your original video game idea

I'll start: the game is a platformer but the combat system is turn based RPG

This guy is the real one

A team-based game with two large space cruisers (one for each team).
There would be groups who pilot the ships (captains), groups who repair and upgrade the ship (engineers), people who launch in pods to try to invade the other ship (soldiers), gunners who shoot the other ship and incoming pods (gunners) and people who heal (medics).
The ships would be under the gravitational well of a star, making the ship slingshot around when close, or fall in if the pilot isn't careful.

I think it would be cool to play

Ghost in the Shell + Battlefield 4.
Neva ben dun befo.

A fighting game with 3v3s and assists but every character is locked with two others
So you’re basically not so much playing as one character as you are playing with a team

A Mafia-like game in the Weimar Republic.

A fifa with lolis snd superpowers

First person action game where every 2 or 3 levels ends in a boss fight where the boss is the actual boss of the current character you are playing. So a wagecuck fights his way up a highrise to slit his boss' throat and a hooker fights through alleys and streets to kill her pimp. Each character has different abilities or talents but what they can functionally do doesn't differ. IE the hooker is good with small knives while the wagecuck is good at fighting with misc. objects.

I'm the real one
You are in my head charles

only a pseud would ever make this comic

Imagine being such a sad narcissistic piece of shit that not only you believe shit like this, but you also think everyone else is a retarded incel like you

holy shit that is a bad idea for a game
like if i wanted to make a joke about a bad game idea i would use that
you just mashed two of the most generic systems together for no reason

please never suggest an update, mechanic, or balance change to any developer

Pic is ironic considering most of his other comics

>Mario and Luigi
>Paper Mario
>Indivisible

I'm literally making that right now. People seem to like it.

This was fun.
We had fun today.

That exists. It's called Guns of Icarus

...

Isn't that dead as hell?

Attached: Untitled.png (275x67, 3K)

Multiplayer game with various sub-games of different genres where the objective is to be the biggest fucking asshole to everyone, including teammates you may have in co-op
Everyone just fucking ruins each other’s shit and best friends begin to beat each other to death in real life
Like Mario Party but the game actually revels in the chaos it causes

dungeon crawl
collect letter runes
fuse them into words to produce items (gear, weapons, etc)
salvage items to get letters from their words
use letters to solve word puzzles and riddles in the dungeon

An RPG where you start as a super powerful fully leveled character and lose your abilities and levels over time.

Why would anyone ever willingly play that

>same difficulty curve as any other game but you get weaker instead of the enemies getting stronger
I'd play it, seems like a cool idea. I think it would work better for a shorter game though, something under 10 hours.

It's a game where you fuck cute fairies in bondage outfits, but (here's the twist) you're a mole (as in the animal)

Pornographic stealth game in which you're a hapless virgin girl running around a Resident Evil style mansion being hunted by a small number of unique enemies. If they find you, they'll chase you, and if they catch you, they'll rape you. Each enemy has its own unique rape animations.
Each rape contributes to your arousal. If you fill your arousal meter, you orgasm. With each orgasm, you gain corruption, causing your arousal meter to fill up faster. When being raped, you can either passively accept it or fight against your attacker. Fighting doesn't stop the rape but forces them to put you into a more painful and uncomfortable position, which slows your arousal gain, but if you orgasm in this position, you gain far more corruption than otherwise.

Sounds similar to trapquest.

I think Yahtzee posited this concept once. In his concept, the player would choose what abilities to give up (the inverse of choosing new abilities as you level up). So, the player would whittle out abilities they didn't like or use much until they got down to the ones they actually liked, which would force them to make hard decisions about what to sacrifice and what to keep.

What is the game about?

Because it would be challenging to have to think of builds you would use, but backwards. What would you need in the early game, mid and late game.

IT offers no gratification and basically punishes you for progressing. Shit idea

And yet he's engage in the drone-like behavior of using meme comics as evidence. The creator sort of proved himself wrong.

Fallout 4 Collectors Edition VR Remastered.

>Literally every western normie game like COD, GTA and Fortnite but with anime art style, cram it with Waifushit and Fujoshit, debate whether to make it easily modable with free customization updates or sell absurd amounts of dlc packs for outfits and accessories and emotes/just make a cash shop, Full VR support with secret autoblow (and whatever vibrator equivalent) compatability patch
>And the exact same thing as above but with Furries
INFINITE MONEY

Consider it a request and post it in the drawfagbooru.

Neverwinter Nights, but turn-based and using 4e rules.

Elder Scrolls, but with good writing.

So Wolfenstein meets Diablo.

> fenoxo rakes 20.000 $ each month of fur cash for barely any content
imagine if the AAA industry gets a hold of this

Okay that's based

I'm pretty sure there are already quite a few games like that.

my idea is that everyone who reads or read XKCD is gassed. not really a video game I guess but it would be pretty fun

Wrong. NPC meme is real.

KOF 94

Yeah, but not in the exact fashion I have nebulously defined in my head and in accordance with my exact fetishes, so they're useless to me.

Basically Persona but the main characters are Vocaloids and you bond with your friends by making music together. It's a million dollar idea, really.

So, inazuma 11 with girls

Hack and slash with racing but the catch is it's only with hot women, all the large mobs and bosses are actually hot women as well as they fight in extreme speeds.
Once completed, you can unlock the ALL-MALE NG+.
Then the NG++ will feature male and female.

I call it Switch//Shift

DOTA 2 but its MGSV style open world stealth and all the player characters are a ninja.
The goal is to use your ninja powers to take out enemy ninja and influence the ongoing battle in such a way that your sides troops break through and destroy the enemy base.

>every idea is "genre + genre but with 'garbage gimmick'!"
NGMI

Basically just a combination of Smash Bros and Pokemon Stadium.

visual novel + dating sim but if you finish a girl's route she becomes your gf irl

In a post apocalyptic world ruled by evil robots, you take your makeshift, slapped together weaponry based on magnets and electricity to stop the robot menace and free humanity.

There’s an arsenal of several weapons to choose from, ranging from tasers to hacking tools to magnet based weaponry. Every weapon has a weaker base form that you start off with that dramatically changes as you level the weapon up, think Ratchet and Clank 2. However if you prefer a weapons previous state or if it’s more suited for the task at hand you can switch back at any time. Getting to the highest tier of any weapon would be difficult without specializing in that weapon, but all final tiers are extremely powerful.

The game would be semi-open world, kind of like Fallout. I’m thinking a 2D Death Road to Canada combat and art style. You start off by choosing your preferred weapon, but if you find you don’t like it, you’ll be able to find the rest out in the world. After that you can go around, fight robots and complete missions which give you reward money for shops and progress the story. Shops let you give your weapons specific upgrades that you won’t get by simply leveling up the weapons, and robots drop a small amount of money on destruction. The story will eventually lead up to a massive factory stage where all the robots are being manufactured and end with a showdown with the Motherboard, leader of the robot army. The game would be titled Hack and S/ash.

What if it isn't tied to progress, but something else like Time in game or kills so you can change how you play to minimize the abilities lost.

GiTS actually had a decent blops clone , but it's ded now because FUCKING NCSOFT

Open world post apocalypse game. You play as a NEET loser who leaves his house for the first time in a month to find out that he is the last man alive as everyone else in the world has been turned into lolis.

I’ll take 5

Some sorta first person wizard game. You start off with the ability to set mines and shoot basic fireballs. As you progress, you can spend points on shit like
>throw a fireball at a mine, it explodes even bigger
>if you activate a mine this way and are standing in it, you get a speed/jump boost
>equip different charged fireballs (spread attack, giant bouncing magma ball, etc.)
>chance for DOT effect where if they die from it they explode into fire
Might just make it a simple wave fighter and crank it out in a week with Godot sometime. Really, the only hard part would be getting assets that aren't just 2D sprites drawn on a 3D plane.

Attached: 1564001467606.jpg (673x568, 204K)

So Lichdom Battlemage?

>wolfenstein meets diablo
I'd throw in a little Castlevania just to be safe

Disgaea but M.U.G.E.N in terms of content
Slap some custom characters, levels, and campaign

Tokyo Ghoul but it's Bloodborne.

Attached: 1564964583703m.jpg (869x1024, 68K)

VtMB but it's Tokyo Ghoul

I guess but a lot more concise and with a faster pace. If you want comparisons, I would say more Wizard of Legend's gameplay in first person and on the scale of being a free flash game wave shooter.

Platformer.

A modern-setting RPG (Persona is the only example that comes to mind), where, in addition to combatting phantasmal monsters, doing quests and building a social circle, your character also regularly plays tabletop & traditional games with a rotating group of friends.
Success in both scenarios (tabletop and real life) are contingent on one-another, and you need to develop both your actual character, and your character's character separately to progress. There's a sinister thread connecting the real events to those of the tabletop game, and the plot and campaign interact, overlap, and mirror eachother. If the tabletop character dies, but the party doesn't wipe, you can roll another one, but your Real Life character dying is a hard game over.

Bringing snacks gives you small social bonuses and your party works harder in your favour.

but xkcd is super smart for super smart people like me

Here's mine I've been quietly working on.
>RPG
>Turn based tactical gameplay Action points for movement.
>Similar to JA2
>3d buildings with physics, explosion could collapse entire building
>Working title: Redneck: Civil War
>Story: California trying to leave the union.

Nothing like killing your enemies with a giant "FUCK YOU" sword.

Dunno if I'd call it decent, aiming was totally fucked with the permanent spread and 1 shot headshots making most fights half RNG. I'd like a cross between GitS and SWAT though.

How does one even think without "inner dialogue"?

Sounds cool.

Maybe the phrasing of “inner speech” or whatever terminology was used just confused people? Unless thinking for other people is based on pure instinct and no actual thought occurs.

RPG set in the 80s where battles are replaced with high score challenges in arcade style mingames

In pictures perhaps?
Perhaps they see food and visualize themselves eating it, in order to recognize that it is safe to eat?

>Unless thinking for other people is based on pure instinct and no actual thought occurs.
That's what I was asking about.
I don't think I ever think without inner dialogue.

Cholo Azteca Ogres with a female priestess/shaman being the canon playthrough and Cardi B's I like it like that plays during the end credits. Place emphasis on heavy handed brutality and the top tier weapons using diamonds instead of obsidian.

Arcade-style Metroidvania, with a series of small map levels, instead of one big one. Each level can be cleared in a matter of minutes if you learn a good route, but you gotta figure that shit out because backtracking and item order are all over the place. Online speedrun leaderboards and replays built in to hook players into playing and replaying to try and top eachother. Each new level has a different set of powerups that get you past different kinds of obstacles, and additional levels are sold for a dollar (or two) a piece, indefinitely, each introducing new items, mechanics, and alternate characters (there will be enough rehashing of elements, graphics, or new combinations of existing items, to male this economical/sustainable).

Attached: 1565110654658.jpg (573x776, 128K)

Do it. Sounds hella rad.

already thought about this when working on a zelda 2 inspired project

medieval fantasy rpg adventure but it takes place in the distant future on one of the outer planets' ice moons (like Europa or Triton) after the sun expanded to envelop the inner planets
all the wizards and magic and shit are all constructs of human explorers that are sent from a faraway space colony in order to observe the relatively new people

It's called thinking visually, also those moments when you're staring at a problem and you can almost feel the gears in your head turning it over.

youtube.com/watch?v=s8n2jcrQY5o

relevant

thoughts on game mechanics:
>open world, but not open-ended, you follow a set story from different approaches
>hardcore exploration heavy, no map markers or quest indicators unless you have the materials (like charcoal or some shit) and the necessary orienting skill level
>multiple classes that determine weapon skills and bonuses
>faction choices, either a native cult that's obsessed with dethroning the 'wizards' or join the wizards themselves to learn the truth and save the planet from a quickly expanding sun
>ng+ becomes either a medieval colony management sim if you chose the cult faction or a space colony management sim if you chose the human faction

>want to make my idea into real game
>search for unity tutorial
>most of them are either basic stuff retold thousand times or just a piece of function that will never mesh with other function
Where am I supposed to learn stuff like this?

store.steampowered.com/app/17550/Eternal_Silence/
HL2 mod with classes and space dog fighting and cruiser ship invasion. Either you destroyed their cruiser through dogfighting or by invading and capturing every spawn point. Taking some rooms disabled shit like weapons, shields, on the cruiser too.
Dead as fuck though ;_;

Attached: ES.jpg (1024x819, 317K)

That's the real tragedy of the NPC meme, retards latched onto the solipsism aspect to make themselves feel special and completely neglected the question of "If inner speech isn't standard, then what do other modes of thought entail?"

thebrainbank.scienceblog.com/2015/10/10/whats-going-on-in-your-head-the-science-behind-our-inner-voice/

This but with lolis would be pretty fucking cool.

Attached: 29405-1.jpg (419x591, 54K)

This idea creeps me out. Some of the people I work with give me the impression that they really are just motivated by instinct like that.

So what the fuck is it called when I have multiple layers of inner speech, and the deepest ones spit out ideas faster than my inner monologue can pronounce the words?
Like, I have a raw idea, formless, nameless, but concrete, at layer 1, then it sort of echo-chambers up through several layers, picking up concrete terms, until it forms into a statement or question. I can interrupt an idea before putting it into words, push it back down to the pre-verbal layers, and rebuild it. I can also converse and argue with the half-conscious inklings of though at the bottom of the thought-column. Am I schizophrenic, or just overactive?

Extremely interesting.
Thanks for the link!

Although
>implying path rhyming with Kath instead of Garth is the correct way
I think I'll refuse to believe what the article says.

It was on the bus just the other day that I saw that live support guy and thought of playing the game again, the one I played with my son when I was a little kid (of course he can't have been yet but I still remembered it!) I wondered how to get the money together to have the game made again but I still don't know how that guy from live support got his hands on it, but they usually send someone to try and distract me whenever I think of these things from when I was younger that I'm not allowed to remember, sometimes a live support guy sometimes a postal worker or at least that's what they call themselves, I know he had the hardware and a copy of the game in his weird little satchel bag, it was green and blue I think I didn't get a good look at it because I didn't want to let them know I even cared he was there so they didn't know to send more guys to fuck with me again because they might think it wasn't working (it might go the other way though!) Anyway it's really convenient this thread pops up for me to see like an hour after that guy was there trying to make me think about that game from like 20 years ago that I know I must have made and sent

>crossed legs
too emasculated

NO way, people are this stupid right? Do people really never think?? I am fucking scared I could be surrounded by actual morons.

a resource management game where you play as a commander of a nazi concentration camp and you have to design the camp and come up with more efficient ways to kill jews

That study was bullshit just ignore it entirely

>2007
how have i never heard of this, goddamn

>get guy with typhus
>chuck him in the camp
>lock it up and leave for a month

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption

Made an amazing horror game idea a few months ago that anons loved. Can't be assed to post it all again. It was a thread about saving the horror genre flooded with jump scares.

Very short version. You come back to your home town after college. You find everyone is oddly too happy and too perfect. By doing events I the town you can start figuring out what is happening. The entire town is under the illusion and getting sucked by a lovecraft inspired monster. The monster is able to project a false reality over the area.

The games mechanics revolve around using illusions to your advantage and accepting the monsters influence or completely rejecting the influence and trying to beat it. The monster will sometimes make your life easier but if you go through with it your resistance to his influence lowers. The game can eventually get to a point where it is impossible to beat because you received too much help, and it is not obvious if it is help or not.

For example you could be in the middle of the woods with half health and find a first aid kit out of nowhere to heal you. This will be an example of getting help when it's not realistic.

You are also on a time limit. The more you sleep in the town the more you are exposed to his influence. The more you stay awake when you are not supposed to your insanity also increases at faster rate.

By the end of the game the monster is weak as shit if you rejected his influence most of the time, can be impossible to defeat if you accepted his influence too much, or no longer is a boss option if you become a full cuck to his influence. Instead he just becomes an ice-cream truck in his illusion and bring you "ice-cream"

I want Mass Effect with space exploration and space dogfight. Managing your own Spectre unit. Make landing on planet possible with 2 or 3 locations to land and a full hand crafted level to explore with storylines and meaningful lore to discover. I don't want fully procedural boring planet like NMS.

Also the ground combat would be XCOM like.

There it's the perfect game.

>manage to 'um ackshully' an xkcd comic
impressive

Attached: tanakacool.jpg (560x432, 18K)

Actually Mass effect X Freelancer X XCOM

>reddit comics
>fedora humor

Attached: 1558953358564.png (599x282, 69K)

Snatcher but its not a point and click, you can explore Neo Kobe city and shit, i just want an open world cyberpunk detective game

>original
>what is Valkyrie Profile or Child of Light

Side-scrolling combo-based Beat-em-up with emphasis on gaining momentum and using that momentum to unlock new fighting styles

>my opinion on beer is solely based on bud light and pbr

I like this, would play.

>you just didn't try the GOOD one broooo
Talked like a true junkie.

Don't feel like blaming him, because US beer is shit.

Seriously, drink a real "Budweiser (Budvar)" once.
You won't be able to return.

Alcohol is objectively shit. I have completely cut it off at 30 years old. I only drink a glass of wine for some rare celebration at work or something now.

It's a poor people tax for retards like lottery tickets. Funny how people who drink daily also probably buy lottery tickets. Dumbasses.

Reverse tower defense set in 1944.
You play as Ahnenerbe necromancer who uses hordes of undead to turn the tide of war.
We can call it Undying Reich or something.

You and 3 other players have to tidy up a house before time runs out.

Kinda like overcooked.

A grim and gritty WW1 Shooter, focused on realism and historical accuracy. I think the most important aspect would be developing a somewhat realistic damage system rather than just abstract Hit Points. I would also want the story to focus more on the grim realities of what it was like to be a soldier in the war rather than the heroic fantasy of most FPS games. Maps and battles would be as close to the real events as possible, although what campaign chosen to represent would have to be decided based on what would be the best to play through while still maintaining accuracy. Though above all else the most important aspect would be replacing all of the characters with lolis.

It is a typical RPG with some of my own original story ideas, but nothing earth shattering. sigh ... probably get accused of plagiarism as that usually happens somehow even from games I never heard of.

What makes it crazy is how open ended I plan to make it. I will just keep adding and compressing options till I am happy. Got like 15 years of what if in my head. Forget flee and fight, you want to crush the world economy and environment by hunting slimes to extinction then watch the madness insure do it, I got a script for it. You want to become a blacksmith max out your level and flood the world with over powered brass knuckles for every bandit in the land, sure got that covered. Go kill demon king, pick a route I got them all, heck join his rain of terror. Oh, and each time you get to the end a major world element will roll over, so you get like 25 solid replays at least.

I am worried about how big the files will get, but now that games don't fit on CD anymore I think the hardware will out pace me. Could break it into packs if needed. Plus as I learn more I can probably fix the code way better.

I will deliver on the insane promise Fable made years ago, which has yet to be done. Just don't expect good graphic or sound past Super Nintendo level cause the some cuts had to be made for all the stuff I am shoving in this.

Indivisible is just a knockoff of Valkyrie Profile with a different mythology.

I generally just think in concepts and don't think with words unless I'm specifically trying to think about words, like how to phrase something. I thought that was normal.

youtu.be/AvXp6L-H8pE

>I thought that was normal.
We all probably think that about ourselves, and there is nothing wrong with that, but apparently people literally think differently.

Skeet Gray matter

>You and 3 other players are tied to a horse
I somehow misread the start of your post as this while skimming the thread and was really disappointed when I read your post properly,

A single player focused TCG-RPG. It would play like a regular Trading Card Game, but as well as deck building you would have a skill tree to progress on based on your character. Some skills could modify certain types of cards (e.g. an Orc commander could give all Orcs +1 power), some could give you unique cards, others could give you activated abilities.

In addition to that, at certain points in the story you could upgrade certain cards into one of two variants, so your Orc Spy could become unblockable or force your opponent to discard a card when it deals damage.

Star Wars game but with DMC or Bayonetta gameplay. So, Force Unleashed but good.

>source: an article about done random social studies experiment
Yeah bro seems legit

I use to think like that when I was like 15, teenagers are dangerously stupid

Animal Crossing mixed with Darkest Dungeon and Stardew Valley. Build your own mini city/town and go out on adventures outside the city with a turn based RPG twist.

Postapocalyptic game where an alien virus killed 99% of lifeforms and turned everyone else into monstrous fauna. You spawn as a small formerly human critter and run around eating shit to evolve, with advanced ecological AI and a progressively mutating ecosystem as the virus kicks in

Also some plot and boss monsters idk

Post-apocalyptic city manager/combat RTS, where you would have to actively scavenge the wasteland for any valuables. Due to technological collapse you would see the emergence of all kinds of medieval/steampunk/dieselpunk tech, and you be given a lot of freedom a designing your city/army.

PVE Battleroyale. All players have to survive an army of zombies, ghosts, werewolves, or other such monsters.

A base-building/management sim in which you manage a soviet 1960's paranormal and alien creature containment facility.

At the beginning, you chose one of several different possible locations for your facility: such as an unfinished bunker in Ural mountains, an abandoned Agriculture research facility not too far from Moscau, or a former mine deep in siberia.

You build both ground level and undeground facilities, not entirely unlike Evil Genius. You hire soldiers, scients, engineers and administrators, build ubications, mess-halls, storage facilities, generators, med-bays and of course, labs and repositories. You have to manage logistics, security, and schedules.

Once you start getting your first "cryptos" (paranormal creatures or objects), you assign them to labs or storages, issue schedules for science teams to study them, and so on.
"Cryptos" themselves can range from fairly benign to zombie viruses to insanely powerful creatures that mind-control anyone who looks at them, and basically all can come in variety of "levels", and basically all can breach containments and will try to escape of fuck your shit up. As a result, containment plans are vital: From having soldiers and armories with equipment on stand-by, to managing air-flow (as some of the creatures may spread through air) and even rigged explosives to seal entire parts of your base.

When you are not expanding your labs, improving your supply flows and seeing your scientists get melted, you also have to worry about "diplomacy", that is a constant pressure from the Inner Party to see results, but at the same time not attracting too much attention.

Later on you will even have to worry about things like espionage, sabotage, and so on. Goal is to achieve a series of breakthroughs and potentially create a super-human.

Combat would be real-time: player would have direct control over soldiers summoned to fight, otherwise, NPC would be driven by their own schedules.

Minecraft x robocraft x Little big planet

The Desolate Hope did it.

TCG Battle Royale.
You get a randomized deck each game, then play a game with 99 other players.

I'm sure we'll see that in the next year or so. Seems like too easy an idea not to use.

battle royale but a different one to the ones currently on the market. the characters could look different or something

>Arkham-style gameplay starring Todd McFarlane era Venom
>non linear mission selection like Alpha Protocol allowing for greater reactivity
>possible ally Spider-Man encourages you to be a moralfag
>possible ally Ghost Rider encourages you to give no fucks and whoop ass
Just a basic outline.

Attached: Venom-Todd-McFarlane.jpg (1400x700, 221K)

Your character is powerless but absorbs the last power it gets hit with.
So if you want to keep an ability you have to avoid getting hit (say in boss fights or platforming sections) but sometimes you have to intentionally get hit for an advantage.

Maybe you find items that help you, like a super slow to pull up shield that tanks a hit for you. Or syringes that do a little damage but give you a specifc power in return.
It would need some experimentation to see what's fun.

I used to agree but the sheer level of stupidity social media has revealed about the human race has made me re-think. We have hordes of people wanting to ruin the most peaceful and prosperous era of mankind because they're bored.

So Lobotomy Corp?

an MGS game, but with more gameplay

I haven't played that one yet, the art style has put me off, but I think I'll look into it. I have been playing with this concept for well over a year now. I was thinking a lot more along the lines of mixture of Evil Genius, Dungeon Keeper and old X-coms, without the painfully cartoony aesthetics.

Street Racer RPG
takes place in Los Angelles in 1992 ,you start out as a small time mechanic and the game gives you enough cash to buy your first garage and car
from there on you race to buy more cars, bigger garages, get sponsors, work yourself up specific car leagues, you can also take greater risks by smuggling goods, stealing cars or other criminal activities

If I was made King of Earth the first thing I'd do is have all the sociologists in the world gathered up at a cliff and conduct a study to see how quickly sociologists being thrown off a cliff die, then present my findings as absolute fact.

Metroidvania-style Platformer, but all your abilities (possibly including jumping?) must be performed by drawing shapes on the screen with your mouse.

>large scale space battles
>with actual orbital mechanics
>spaceships and weapons affected by gravity
>need to plan crazy shots utilizing gravitational assists to get kills

This reminds me of Wario Master of Disguise.

Basically something fucks up you submarine s navigation and you need to get to the surface. The only way you can do that is by sending sonar waves into the dark. Every so often you'll get a signal back but the problem is you don't know what it is so you communicate with it to progress and to see if it's friend or foe.
Basically
>Top down vew of sub
>Sub is barely visable
>You send out a signal in all directions
>You get about 3 from different directions
>You'll ask it any of them simple questions from a list of questions
>Choose who sounds legitimate and send a signal in the direction of the trusted one
>Keep having a conversation with it while also finding where it's coming from
>At any point if it sounds sinister from the questions you can send out a 360 signal again for someone different
>Along the way you might have to fight simple threats and will have to use simple torpedoes
>once you get close enough you'll start to see a blurry image
>If you chose right then you'll either get a whale or other friendly sea creature
>Sometimes they gift ammo
>Wrong will result in a a battle
>A really wrong would be a giant forbidden one who'd you would need to escape from or be well equipped to fight
>Usually when asking questions or talking with it you can somewhat guess if it's friend or fo by the direction it leads you in
>If all goes well the creature will lead you to the next part of the ocean you need to get to
>At the end of the game you'll have to escape a powerful forbidden one who tries to attack you so you have to escape while defending yourself
>If you make it to the top or beat him all of the nice creatures will great you at the surface and give you a farewell

Would this be goat?

The gameplay isn't overly unique but it's something I think could be fun.
>Mystery Dungeon Roguelike styled game but instead of actually being a mystery dungeon it's a whole lot of puzzle dungeons where you can only use what you find on that floor and must complete a set number of challenges to proceed.
Challenges range from;
>Beat in X turns
>Carry X item to the end
>Be under X status effect when you reach the goal
>Don't wake enemies
>and so on
>Theme is you play a delinquent/sukeban(male or female choice) who gets isekai'd and needs to beat the demon lord. They get to the demon lord's tower but now need to rely on their brains instead of their brawn to reach the him.
>Final floor is where you just get to smack the shit out of the demon lord for making you go through all those brain teasing puzzles while you curse and shout at him.

Starfox style game but with loli airplane

This idea is pretty stupid and I won't ever be able to actually make this work in game maker but
>A turn based action game where everything you choose to do from running and jumping to fighting takes a certain specific amount of time
>Levels would be objective based with stuff like "kill all the enemies" and "collect this many these things"
You also get ranked on how long you take so you have to keep on the move and be strategic about where you go
>Since it's turn based you can have fairly complex commands that are executed from a menu instead of s difficult button combo
>At the end of a level not only are you rewarded normally but you also get a cool replay of all that you did in real time, so you can be proud of yourself for doing the cool flashy stuff.

sound fun

This reminds me of a short comic on e-hentai
Pretty much a bunch of japanese male high-schoolers (?) got transformed into magical girls, with all the proper assets (ie: magical bracelets and whatnot).
One of the character is the classic japanese delinquent teenager, so when the mascot shows the group the various devices he wears the magical bracelet like a brass knuckle and that made me laugh so goddamn hard

A mountaineering game. The mountains are randomly generated but each one can be saved and shared online. Players can either solo climb or assemble a team in multiplayer. There's a small hub that acts as equipment storage and a playable portal for people who want to assemble a random team instead of people they know. The player has limited inventory and the game has temperature and oxygen mechanics that affect the player's climbing ability. Potentially uses physics for wind and avalanches. Game comes with permadeath mode for crazy people. There's an NPC called Todd who will tell you a lot about climbing mountains but never does it himself.

Sauce, if you remember it?

>possibly ally Carnage encouraging you to indiscriminately murder

Had this idea for a while, might use it if I make it in the Gaming Industry
A literal talking simulator
But actually challenging
You play as a nervous diplomat or politician and have to regularly attend board meetings. There other members of the meeting question or ask you or respond to your opinion.
The difficult part of the game is being careful about word choices and choices. You'll have at least 10 or 12 ways to respond to each prompt and some of them are identical to other ones but have a different type of word choice, which can either affect your argument negatively or positively. You usually have a few seconds or a few minutes to respond depending on the situation, if someone else is talking it'll give you a chance to "think up" ways to respond. You also need to be careful about the person you're speaking to, if you slip up or say something that offends them, you can get fucked easily, same goes for word choice. Be also very weary of your opponent(s) character traits, like for instance a manipulator will very likely check every fucking word choice you use and fuck you over if you say something that can be twisted in another way, or call you out if one of your arguments contradicts your previous one (even if you changed your mind and admit to having done that).
A reverse-Phoenix Wright of sorts.
There'd probably be both a single-player and multiplayer, with multiplayer being a free-for-all role-play like Ace Attorney Online.

My man, thank you...
OH HEY, I remember reading this one, it just dropped out of my mind for some reason.
Good stuff.

Sounds pretty neat, the sort of game I'd try out and get owned by

This sounds pretty awesome. Reminds me of a freeware metroidvania I played once called "In 60 seconds" where you have a minute to get all the upgrades and beat the boss. But it was only a single small level.

Completely free open source virtual world sandbox game.

Basically Worlds + Garry's Mod.

There'd be a "virtual journey" mode that allows people to cross between available worlds through a pre-loaded level that essentially acts as a loading screen.

I emphasize the f2p and open source aspect in order to allow as many people as possible to add content to the game, I could imagine using a cloud service to create hub worlds for multiple servers.

Spore but good

Firstly, at any point you can choose to stop player-voluntary evolution if you're happy with your species' traits and habitat and hope random mutation and big history doesn't fuck you up, you can also choose to keep evolving as a water organism, or an amphibian and stuff like that
Micro-organism state, from unicellular to pluricellular, at this point you can choose to be a plant or an animal
Early macro-organism state, either fish, algae or mollusk, with 3D macro-organism water stage
Early land animal, with different animal types and traits obviously, again you could had chosen to stay as a micro-organism or a water organism, but keep your species alive through time while others keep evolving and advance through the stages, you can also, for example, have your water micro-organism evolve into a land micro-organism. Early land would probably be the longest stage and get you through the various mass extinctions and Earth stages
Tribal stage, with developed intelligence, tribe building and management and the such
Civilization stage, starting all the way from Mesopotamia kinda shit, and creating a custom civilization through history, probably very similar in mechanics to stuff like Civ, Age of Empires and even SimCity. Civ stage would have the different ages, feudal, iron age, industrial revolution, atomic age, information age, and drive you through world events like world wars, climate change, natural disasters, etc, unless the world you've helped build does not lead itself in those directions
Space stage, probably a mix of Spore's, Stellaris', and Civ: Beyond Earth
Endgame: Probably something like Spore's original endgame but actually OP or very useful, very sci-fi-ish, and you can obviously continue on to waste your life in this game all you want, like i did with og Spore

Check Racing Lagoon, it's more or less what you want outside of the smuggling but it's set in Yokohama.

You play as a futanari who blasts away her enekies with a mighty cumshot

and you have to constantly mash the "at least i'm white" button constantly to keep up morale
