How can anyone who played the FSN VN like the anime adaptations? They remove all the magecraft worldbuilding, SoL character interactions and inner monologue of shirou. It makes people dont get whats good about FSN and think it's just hurr durr servants fighting and power levels

Didn’t even realize the magic switch in the anime.

Magic circuits, crests, and spells were barely explained. Mana and od wasn’t addressed. Grail war rules and spirits is minimized in the anime. Reality marbles/boundary fields are barely even explained.

The only reason Sakura's is any better is because it's a lot less about the smut and more about Sakura taking a big step in her character development, which dominates most of the scene

With Shirou's internal monologue cut, the anime had to try to piece the scene together with visual symbolism. It lacked a huge amount of punch, so they add in a nice song to swell at appropriate moments and try to trick people into feeling how they want them to feel. But it's all hollow and artificial. It's a cheap trick used by those unable to actually get the reactions they want. I don't blame them, because F/SN simply cannot work as an anime and still be an accurate adaptation. It has to instead be a shallow action trash barely echoing known plot beats to try to resonate with fans of the original while not losing new viewers/Zero secondary niggers.

Men rate women evenly according to their attractiveness scale. There's a logical number of average looking women, ugly women and super hot women.

Women, on the other side, rank a majority of men as ugly, and a very small percentage as attractive, with the general idea that there's not a single man in the site who's a 10/10.

The 2nd one is even sadder, it's showing 2 different metrics: personality and looks. The 2 metrics, despite being totally different, are almost always 1:1 meaning every ugly guy was also thought to have an ugly personality and every hot guy was thought to have a nice personality

When the UBW anime came out I thought the franchise couldn't surprise me anymore but then I watched the second Heavens Feel film and was caught off guard when they actually showed the blood sucking and sex that I hadn't seen in the series since almost a decade ago.

Crazy how the VN has crest worms and mana transfer then gets rid of it for the UBW anime so all the secondaries get absolutely confused watching HF II.
