You were right to do so. I watched the first season and holy shit I felt insulted for that show wasting my time. Shit characters, shit world building, terrible plot, nonsense motivations, I could go on all day about how this show pissed me off.

Konosuba was indeed pretty good. I can recommend Overlord if you're looking for more isekai, those are the only two I've really enjoyed. Gonna give this mom show a shot just for comedy purposes.
