>That one perfect game
>It doesn't exist
What is it like Yea Forums?
The million-dollar question.
It's a shooter or an rpg that's for sure
A good fallout game
But I just played PREY
I just want a game with good lore and moderate difficulty but it seems like any game that has that now either had to be some walk in the park pertinacious crap or the game assumes I have 50+ hours to burn
Tactical squad based ODST game in 3rd person
It would be a platformer.
Wrestling themed rpg with a choice to be a heel or the hero.
Game with gameplay loop of a loot shooter or monster hunter game but with autistic levels of character customization and fashion.
Only one that comes sorta close is warframe but the fashion in that is pretty limited and its just not that good
>his idea of a perfect game is a bog-standard game but with lots of cosmetic choices
Battlefront 3
I am still fucking mad
A warhammer 40k citybuilder. Imagine running a hive city.
Free to roam Tenchu game, where you can choose your own attire and fucking weapons and missions. And no, Shinobido doesn't fucking count because that was a Britbong only exclusive
It's Ghost Trick.
TF2 but stuck in 2007
Legend of Mana sequel but in 3D.
I don't know anymore. Depending when this would have been asked from me I could've given different answers but I just don't know anymore
Fire Emblem Maker + the Sims level of social interactions
A game about worshipping cunny
Nier Automata with improved combat that has more air cancels, use of the wire hook to close distance, and more bosses like the opera singer.
A mix of Quake and F.E.A.R where you can rocketjump and also have bullet time, alongside enemies that use destructible enviroments to their advantage.
Gunstar Heroes
>Amazing hand drawn art
>Wanting to ruin it with 3D models
You're subhuman.
Open world Sonic Mania style levels/aesthetic, Utopia design, on next gen hardware/actual budget with Mania music.
Dragon's Dogma 2
An MMO that's not shit
>>Switch
>>Metroid 2D feel, 3D look
>>Multiplayer. Local and Online up to 8 players.
>>Game world approx 3-4 times the size of Super Metroid. Fixed Map.
>>Beat the game to unlock randomizing map mode. Additional smaller randomizing map designed for shorter sessions.
>>Everybody be bounty hunting, when you run into someone it's a fucking event where you try to kill each other.
>>Epic chases across the map that may sweep up additional players in the action.
>>Condoms that should be worn during play sold seperately
God of War
>one perfect game
>>It doesn't exist
Tetris is available on every platform ever. What are you talking about?
Openworld goblin simulator, raid farms and rural villages for food/supplies, caravans food/supplies/shinies, or infiltrate cities to steal shinies. You can upgrade your goblin to one of 2 other classes that trades his obscene dex stats for specializing into more combat oriented classes. Namely, in order of tallest to short,
>Goblin Chief
Fatfuck HP tank shaman, is big and tall enough to throw human opponents around, can recruit a platoon's worth of goblins to his side(40-50), whom he can buff to being viable in 1v1, is KoS everywhere except in goblin warrens, can shrink himself when not in combat if the player wants to try their hand at being utterly gimped at stealth and climbing
>Hobgoblin
Is intended to be the only one that has the option to freely enter cities and work with the thieves guild outside of missions of petty theft, DPS warrior with abilities revolving around fighting dirty, gimped stealth but climbing is on par with Cole from Infamous. Is still a manlet when compared to average humans(5'9")
>Goblin
what the player starts as, can dodge and roll well enough to avoid damage, but with the exception of backstabs and grapple stabs, the damage output is considerably weak, runs, sneaks, and climbs the quickest (spiderman wall climbing essentially) out of the three classes
You can temporarily tame Wargs/Dire Wolves to use as mounts but if you stay dismounted from them for too long they'll turn aggressive unless pacified with a treat or a victim. If you lose track of your mount you can whistle to call it to you but it will be aggressive when it returns.
Minimum of 3 non-goblin cities each of which has its own Thieves guild that can allow you to do extortion missions, more focused stealth missions, night watchman missions, and if your faction is high enough with them will give you a greencard that allows you to enter the city freely, the greencard can be stolen by other goblins, but other than making the player chase and beat the shit....cont.
But other than making the player chase and beat the shit out of the offending goblin, there wouldn't be any gameplay significance other than simple inconvenience if they don't manage to catch the thief.
There, got it out of my system.
Alright lads let's up the game a little bit. This perfect game of yours is now the only game you can play from now on. It can't have a massive mod support like in minecraft or garrys mod so you could just create more games inside it. It also cannot just include every game in it, such as "it's a turn based rpg but you can turn it into an fps or racing sim" etc.
>massive mod support
>minecraft
if i wanted to play modded minecraft i'd just play factorio instead
A proper detective game.
A proper current-gen silent hill
A Shadow of War game where you play as an Uruk.
dude as long as I got good feeling gameplay that involves guns or swords with unremarkable fashion I don't care. Though that's in the realm of realism, if I had no boundaries I'd wish for literal perfect gameplay too
Seconding this
>Spore but done right
Orc vs Elves skirmish/rape simulator, choose your race and class and engage in combat to capture and rape each other, at the end of the match, cut to an audience of both elves and orcs, cheering, booing, and getting into fist fights in barroom or pub, with the match results posted on T.V. screens.
A good Fallout game with lore friendly mounts and vehiclesset in Miami
Final Fantasy Versus XIII
A mix of properties:
>Fallout NV
>Morrowind
>FEAR
>Timeshift
>C&C Tiberian Dawn and Tiberium Wars
>C&C Renegade
>STALKER
>Fallout Tactics
>Underrail
>Metro
>Deus Ex, HR and MD
>Endless Space 2
>Unreal Tournament 2004 & 3 (Assault, Onslaught &Warfare modes)
>Rage
>Dark Messiah
>Crysis
Take the best these games offer and with some expert techno-alchemy - the perfect game.
>>This but on the galactic or solar system scale with grand strategy mechanics. Wouldnt be afraid of micromanagement for a game like that I'd want to be able to pluck some unlucky orphan from the sub-hives and make him a servitor, shit like that.
>Open world train game with rpg mechanics
>literally just spirit tracks with a BOTW size map and features, could be a western / otherwise fictional setting
>>train simulator with My Summer Car levels of immersion
Pls god Im a goode boi
Endless Space 2 if you want turnbased or Endless Space 2 with Stellaris. Set it on the matrix of W40k and aoat all of that with heavy W40k paint.
as much as fallout 4 botched the writing they did a great job with power armor honestly
>spore but they actually released what they had in the reveals and trailers
Nope. Watch The Expanse. They have the right version of power armor that is in fallout universe - its not a mechanised frame, it a suit.
However, mechframe is a nice thing. Just doesnt belong in Fallout. You can be certain that it will be featured in Starfield.
greatest stage is the creature stage, objectively
It's exactly like Tetris. But there's also boobs.
>is it like Yea Forums?
No.
I'm lovin this, user. In fact, I'm planning to drawfag towards a visualisation of it; any ideas on the way that I could share it with you once it's done?
Only when we get full dive VR we will get the perfect game.
Has to be an RPG but not open world, instead 3d metroiddvania like Souls. Melee/sword combat since that has the most depth compared to shooters and platformers. Player freedom is a priority but the game funnels you into a certain playstyle without being forceful. And it has to be meta, the game says something about the medium.
Pokemon Open world game with a combat system similar to ff 12 but better
>no military MMO, and not like Destiny or The Division, but like Xenoblade Chronicles X or WOW combat with a realistic army setting
Resident evil 4 open world
Never will the human mind be satisfied with what it has, and will always meticulously look for imperfections.
dark souls as an mmorpg with huge ass world and constant updates would be great if the networking infrastructure was available.
I've been thinking about something like this except more-so like Ark, minus the dogshit survival grindfest. Seeing the Pokemon interacting with the environment and other Pokemon real time would be cool, but I think I'd rather it be purely action combat instead of picking moves because I personally feel it would be a lot more skillful than "teach good moves to oneshot NPC's Pokemon" that every game turns into past the first couple gyms. I don't think Ninty would ever put out a console strong enough to handle a game like it though and gamefreak has shown they just want to put out flashy crap to attract normies and genwunners.
The Witcher 1 with the extra content they didn't deliver actually included, and all the jank cleaned up in a patch.
Elder scrolls with the combat of Chivalry and the quests of Oblivion
>it exists but the servers are offline
Basically Pokemon EoS but the ones from the future don't get Deus Ex'd.
