Oh no, that would need to be changed, as would that one move Satsuki and Shinzui have where they jump high into the air for a quite a few seconds, then return by crashing down to inflict AoE damage. ASW definitely made that version their priority and its basically not had any of the issues plaguing switch or pc. the worst ps4 has to deal with is any balance issues thatd affect all platforms, and you bet your ass ps4 would get those fixes before switch. if you see earlier in the thread the patches for the switch version are taking forever and pvp currently is basically nonexistent with the terrible hanging/timeouts trying to connect to literally fucking anybody

I'm new to arena/fighting games and trying to get better at this game online has been a pain. The few people playing this game that join a match with me have already mastered the mechanics of the game or are already very skilled at arena games. What this amounts to is the moment I make a mistake, or zig when I should have zagged my opponent starts a combo that often is impossible to break. Guarding, special attacks, it doesn't matter what I do. There's no point in even holding the controller because all control is stripped from me until the round ends.
Any tips on how to avoid this or is this just how this game is at the higher levels of play? I'm not sure it's even worth putting the time into because I wouldn't find it fun to do that to another player.

L+R gets you out of a combo but blocks your super meter for a while so you have to use it strategically.
Block attacks with R and dash out of the way. Cancel shit with forward tilt and attack button, and use the damn valor mechanic to save you in a pinch.

Basically Satsuki is in "coma/dream" state, think of End of Evangelion Instrumentality where everyone sees the things they want the most so they live happily not knowing the shit that's going on in the world. In this world she's stuck in she's the main character, (almost) everything goes her way, Iori upgrades Junketsu she gets her own super suit to fight against the LF in space to save humanity. In the end she kills "herself" realizing it's not the real world, and wakes up

To be fair it wasn't JUST a dream, Junketsu's life fibers were making her world tangible and Ryuko herself said this was a possible 'Future'. It's just not the one from the mainline show and was erased when Satsuki destroyed the universe borne of her delusion. It even had Real risks for the world at large since if the primordial life fiber had destroyed that universe with Satsuki in it by eating too many multi-dimensional life fibers, it probably would've legitimately killed her and prevented her return to her sleeping body in the original dimension. Her achievements are still very much legitimate.

you enter matchmaking and hope to fucking god you get the luck of the draw. out of in total about maybe 40-60 minutes of various attempts i've had a single match, like literally one (1) match, it was a nonon that i initially did okay against but then in the second half they kicked my fuckin ass. there is no rematch mechanic either, after you get the luck of the draw once you're back to staring at the system hanging
