I’d personally recommend just going for the DS version but if you don’t have any other way to play that, then the Switch version is decent. Just keep in mind that the motion controls are a love-it-or-hate-it affair and also to get a stylus for handheld mode.

You can buy fries from Shibukyu Main Store and Shibukyu Stationside to increase your defense. Also, leveling up only affects your HP so you don’t need to worry about overleveling. Personally, I’d focus on boosting up Neku’s and Joshua’s stats to better prepare yourself for the later fights and to try and get some good equipment.

Depends on how you tackle it. If you think you can handle it, then go for it but do keep in mind that Hard can get pretty ball-busting at times. If you can’t, then there’s no shame in trying again later. TWEWY has a pretty great way of handling New Game+ anyway.

IIRC, it’s stated in the Secret Reports that Neku has high Imagination compared to everyone else, which was made him able to use almost all of the pins in the game. It’s probably a part of the reason why Joshua picked him in the first place.
