I was interested, but the words "Windows 10 Only" alone made me lose all interest, even though they dropped that some time in testing. Makes me think everyone else dropped out as well, and never looked back. It also came out during the era of hero shoot bangs and couldn't compete financially.

>development still fucking behind and barely progressed in years, they still lack key figures, code is a mess and new employees don't know how to fix shit, basic features still missing
>game is so fucking unoptimized 6gb minimum are required and this keeps all the potential 3rd world f2p shitters out of the game. Also win10 exclusivity in a period where win10 was shunned by everyone

>rare case where devs are too generous and you can get everything almost for fucking free, don't monetize enough, people are playing but the game is not making money

the sad thing besides all the problem the game was fucking amazing, controlling your character was a pleasure with a godlike combat system and unique artstyle. There isn't anything even remotely similar to it on the market and all the die hard fans can do nowadays is delude themselves of a resurrection that will never come and cry endlessly on the subreddit

Probably not. The Windows 10 thing didn't help it a lot, but there were many other issues with teh game, like the poor optimization, slow roll of the updates, keeping the two pubstomping characters unchecked for months on end (which was a really bad idea because there was no competitive scene), lower settings effectively letting you "wallhack" and so on and so on.

Souless but for real this time.

Good fucking luck making a multiplayer only game in the current market without being supported by a Devil of the industry.
In fact, the only exception I can think of is Rocket league (before selling themselves to Epic, of course), but they had a pretty fucking unique game.

Bad exclusive deal. Microsoft may have given them a ton of money, but nobody used the Windows store, much less to buy stuff limited to Win10 OS users.

The worst marketing in existence. As evidenced by the fact that 80% of this thread still believes it was Windows 10 exclusive because of the initial announcement when no released version of the game at any point in time ended up being Windows 10 exclusive.
