Dragon's Domga struggles to get 30 fps and crashes a lot. XCOM runs surprisingly well, but I guess that's because there's not a huge world and pawns it has to deal with. I always heard that XCOM was unoptimized or something.

I'm not the op, but there's a standalone fan made doom64 loader with a bunch of nice graphical features. It's the go-top way to play doom64.
