Look Ion, I'm not a nostalgiafaggot. My demands for the game aren't unreasonable, I just want 5 improvements from you:

1.) Huge class revamp and unpruning (you already soft-confirmed this)
2.) Revamp of endgame character progression. Currently it's just not satisfying to gear up and upgrade characters. Titanforging is lame.
3.) Revamp of the leveling experience. New talent system, more abilities and rewards given when leveling. More challenging content.
4.) Huge boost to all professions and finally make them a relevant part of the endgame, rather as a tacked-on side thing people can choose to do.
5.) Redesign the dungeon experience. M+ has a place, but it's currently too much. I get hat style of play is desired by some, but the old style of hard dungeons is almost gone. You brought it back somewhat with Mechagon Hardmode. Do more of that. People do not like sifting through dozens of difficulties on a timer.

Now, is that so hard? All I ask for 9.0, and I will loyally sub to you and millions others will as well, I'm sure.

i cant help but think if ion wasn't buddies with numerous blizzard execs, he would never have gotten the job, and then kept it after proving his ineptitude. unless they intentionally wanted to crash and burn their own cash cow, then he did a great job.

But ion got the job at Blizzard because he was a high level player (inb4 parses, yes I know) and one of the best raid designers.

He was the guy who handled the website, the forums that people used for theory crafting, and he also organized resources for crafting stuff for raids. He literally not once was in progression clears.
