No performance issues means it actually sticks to its target framerate. I'll take the visually more faithful switch version at 30 fps over the "remaster"'s art changes at 60 fps anyday.

You won't be missing much if you play offline, but why would you? Just play the Remastered on PC, online. You'll have some extra neat things going on in your game. Unless you're pirating or something, I guess.
