Depends on how good you are.
Like if you can pull off large combos, T-Spin Doubles and Triples and back to back Tetris' without a sweat that puts you in a top percentile where there's usually only like 1 or 2 people to worry about anyway and if you outpace them or they get ganged up on you can blitzkreig to a victory anyway.
Otherwise you can sneakily target a combo for little kills to try to get some minor advantage. At least to keep up with the rest. Might get lucky and win.
That's sort of where I am. I only have a 10% winrate. I can combo a little and do a Tspin Double quite consistently but the really advance techs are a bit beyond me still.
I really need a Tetris that makes such labbing easy.
