Hogs are a menace, though. When my family had cattle, we'd have to go out and try to thin the wild javelina population as much as possible. They're cannibals, y'know, and so you just leave the corpses out there and the others will eat their own. Bones and all. You'll just see rutted dirt since the hogs will eat the blood off the grass and mud. They'll charge you, also, especially if you graze one. More than once the only thing that saved my life was a big truck and a spear.
