Wtf why did they end this in America? I JUST bought some eshop cards so I could get these things and they just stopped offering them in America only.
Switch Game Vouchers
Because Nintendo of America sucks big ol' donkey dick
It's revenge for the nukes.
That's how sales usually work user. There was a wide window of time to purchase these and the sale reached its end date.
That and America usually gets the shit end of most deals while places like the UK get better treatment.
I'm going to use one for Link's Awakening but I have no idea what to use the other one on. Originally was going to get Fire Emblem but then I realized I don't give a FUCK about that game. Maybe Astral Chains will be good? Fuck, I dont know.
Maybe daemon if they can fix the framerates a bit.
Legit question, do you guys feel shitty after buying digital on consoles? Guess coz i can pirate on my hacked switch but when a game is good i always buy the physical copy.
Glad I just used them to pick up FE and Ultimate Alliance 3. Shame I couldn't grab a set for Astral Chain and Daemon X machina
I always regret it
All the games that came out on physical I prefer it, but the FF7 remake and Gato Robato where the only ones I bought digitally so far.
>Legit question, do you guys feel shitty after buying digital on consoles?
No, why should I? A game is a game, and digital games are often on sales. Physical are not (at least in my country), so what options do I have? Don't say import.
Plus, I rarely sell my games, so...
I buy all my multiplayer games digital. It saves me the hassle of changing the disk when my friends want to change games. Lets me keep my single player game disk in as long as I need it to be.
save one for DQXI
I only buy games digitally that I know I'm gonna be dumping 100s of hour into and might want to switch to at any time.
At the moment the only digital switch games I have is MHGU, FE3H, and Disgaia 5. Everything else is physical.
I do make sure to stack shit like sales + eShop credit when I do so each one was basically half price.
you can score games at 45 euros in stores in supermarkets there, the voucher was kind of a scam unless you live in prison and must buy on their shop
It was supposed to be a perk of having a Nintendo online account
This sale isn’t ending anywhere else in the world, just the US.
Why did you get the remake of all games digital? Thats the one game I'm aiming for physical because it's going to have multiple parts, some will be on the ps5 which is supposed to be backwards compatible but we haven't had a confirmation of whether that's the case digitally
Shit, forgot it was ending. Was gonna get Astral Chain and Luigi's Mansion. Guess I'll wait a bit.
My bad, the re-release of ff7 on the switch, not the remake.
Imagine falling for a scam when your local fucking walmart has new switch games for $50
yea, I’m glad I bought a *voucher* a while back bro
Astral chain maybe?
Stop commiting mass murders and maybe, JUST MAYBE, you'll be able to purchase videogames.
Until then, no vidya for you, you goddamn killer.
I used to have the physical-only philosophy, but for the sake of convenience, I conform to a new policy:
Any majorly single player game, like Breath of the Wild, Fire Emblem, Mario Odyssey, etc., I'll buy the game physically.
But any majorly multiplayer, or super-replayable game, I'll get on digital so I don't have to change cartridges for a quick game. Like Splatoon, Smash, Puyo Puyo Tetris, Mario Maker 2, etc.
Seems like the best of both worlds to me.
Not shitty. I got to partake in a rare Nintendo Sale and I don't have to get up and reach behind my TV to switch out the game card whenever I want to play another game. I feel shitty when I have to buy a physical copy, because I feel they no longer have manuals and the box is 95% empty space and a little notch for the game card.
Although I like the look of the games neatly ordered on my shelf, I don't think it's worth the problem it comes with.
>Nintendo will take away your games!
No they won't because I don't break the rules.
