What exactly makes a main "honest" in the context of Tekken? A typical main "honest" will generally try to stick to what's easy to understand at first sight, or at least how the player would think it would be done: a "fast combo", with the usual move set-up and a "special move". To be fair, there are definitely exceptions, and even some classic "honest" main players, such as Haxor and Guile, have been able to find ways to get through a combo set-up (and sometimes get away from it), and some of them were very fast players. On the other hand, you can also see examples of characters that are good in a set-up situation, but not so good at actually executing a full combo, and therefore are usually considered "bad honest" main players. But to actually discuss the main types of "honest" main players in particular, it is enough to look at the top 50 best main players under the age of 40 who made the top 10 during 2014. Most of the top 20 main players were also from Japan. Of the top 20, around 45% are Japanese, the other 45% are European and other Asian players, and the other 40% are Americans.

I main Kazuya and im told he is BS all the time for shit like his tracking phantom electrics, his unseeable helsweeps, his safe df,2 thats a CH launcher, his safe df1 can go right into a 50/50.
