Hoping skills 2.0 is some system that lets you unlock alternate versions of skills/alternate skills to swap in to certain skill slots on characters. Would be neat to be play different spins on the same character.

i'm hoping for my boy, bandit to be in game with EXACTLY the following setup:
m1, slow repeater shots, can shoot faster if timed right
m2, rip off high noon mechanic where you can do 6 shots but prioritizes shooting explosives. it only shoots enemies/objects in a limited circle that grows larger as you hold m2
shift, the same smoke screen
R, throws a high damage dynamite that acts like the explosive barrels in game if you leave it be, which you can shoot later or mid-air

Oh yeah, there's a new test zip on the mega. It's using the gloves + black + skin color texture. I also removed her rear jets by making artificer's flame texture transparent. Unfortunately, this also makes all of artificer's flame related attacks transparent. There are still the little dots that can be used to see where her projectiles are going.

For the game to get harder as rounds go on, not easier.
I thought they had it with the malachites, but then they fucked it all up by introducing guillotines which just completely destroyed the entire point of having a stronger elite enemy.

Guillotines are getting made green next patch, which will be nice. I think once that change is made the game will be in a pretty decent place, malachites are fucking scary without many of them

It's just going to be the barbiemode from earlier. I'm really just reusing an old texture. Modeling the crotch would be a lot of time making something that's not even going to be seen because of artificer's specific animations. There's still the usual nips, tho.

It's been in the works for a while. About a month and a half ago it got multiplayer comparability, and many mods were made multiplayer compatible. But there were two enormous bugs that made it not worthwhile. The head honcho has apparently fixed those bugs, but I've yet to test it out myself in multiplayer.

The update that fixed those two bugs also broke many multiplayer compatible mods, but UES Prime (adds five new characters and several new artifacts), Dead Drop (adds Isaac Clarke and the other guy from Dead Space), and Elite Spite (Spite bombs now take on the characteristics of the elite that birthed them. Frenzied enemy bombs are super fast, Volatile enemy bombs spawn another bomb upon exploding, Blazing does burning damage, and Overloading bombs can zap you to death before even exploding) work fine.

Elite Spite, alone, is worth the price of admission IF those bugs are indeed fixed. There's also tons of polish and QOL changes like a TAB menu, a clover counter within this TAB menu, kicking and banning functions, Loader and Chef have animations on the select screen, etc. The author is now working on Steamworks integration. I hope to host it this week.
