What's the best Senran Kagura on PC?

EV has the worst gameplay of all the action games and they had to fix like 95% of its problems on Renewal. It's still a little more sluggish than Shinovi but it makes up for that with greater clarity of enemy attacks and much refined parry mechanics.

How do you compare a 3rd person shooter to a beat'em up exactly? Every mainline game in the whole fucking series has the same style except PBS (which is a mainline game). And PBS's core game style was simply more fun.

PBS gameplay is slow as fuck thanks to reloading every 4 seconds, the mouse and keyboard controls are ass, and most of the guns feel like shit. Overall the game is as bad as EV.

Well, in 2, she's still pretty fun to play. Anytime I fully connected with her air combo into air super, it felt sooooo good.

That's one thing that really irked me with Re;Newal, was that they had this improvement to the parry system and a focus on air; but don't really do anything with it cause the Versus engine doesn't have air super.

For my money Burst Renewal and PBS are the best on steam.
Shinovi Versus is pretty good.
Estival is just pure garbo.

I gotta say Burst Re;Newal from a gameplay perspective. Landing parries in that game was extremely fun.

Shame they went to the KT School of DLC practices as the default outfit selection was pretty barebones.

Speaking of Homura, she's pretty fun to use in 2. Probably my favorite in that game.

What I'm noticing is that with the faster characters I'm having an issue of button mashing like in the other games and just flying right past the target.
Definitely can't just tank hits from the bosses, at least not at the beginning levels.

You definitely can't trade hits. Earlier I was stuck on Haruka in the hot springs cause I had a tough time finding an opening against her with Hibari cause Haruka is fucking top tier in this game.

Probably the hardest thing for me is building meter with some characters so you can do crazy shit.

Homura's looking more and more like my favorite since I can do her Level 1 ninpo and then jump into her aerial ninpo in one combo and it feels so good when I land both back to back.

One of the many things this game has over the others is that ninja arts are so satisfying to land compared to the Versus games where enemies can just break out of them at any moment with EV being the worst offender.

She's great in burst and the special where she turns into a giant does a shit ton of damage even to daidoji, did she get nerfed in 2/SV/EV?

she's pretty much the weakest and squishiest character.
Some side missions in renewal are broken easy with her if you chain the ground pound. That ass is fat.
