Other characters get endings if they reach A rank with each other, but Byleth's S rank support overrides everything. I'd avoid some A rank supports though if you're gunning for someone in particular unless you're fine with the inherently romantic undertones A rank supports tend to carry though.

My Bernadetta has 12 fucking STR at level 20. I just recruited Shamir and she hits literally 3 times as hard and is a lower level.

Do you use Dancers? If you don't, give it to a sword user for the sword avoidance skill. Dancer's problem is that characters can contribute much more when not a dancer.

Doing Black Eagles route right now and the majority of my characters are fucking gods.

Edelgard does 36 damage minimum and tanks most physical hits.
Hubert also does retarded amounts of damage although he cant take physical hits well.
Gremory Dorothea is also a glass cannon but has Meteor and Thoron which more than makes up for it.
Petra is a dodge tank crit machine
Bernadetta's range is insane and her crest allows for follow up hits on occasion. One of the best archers I've used in the series.
Caspar almost always has a crit rate of 40%. He started out really shitty but I'm so glad I invested in him.

My weakest unit is definitely Linhardt. Shit damage output, shit defense. Only use him for warp and healing. Ferdinand is decent I just wish he had more speed. Byleth is disappointing. He's a good dodge tank and has a lot of strength but his speed is garbage and gets doubled by every swordmaster and sniper.

You have to take care of her user, she can't just eat cake all the time.

There was one poor user on /feg/ with a low strength and low speed and decent magic Dmitri.

You can raise your affection with Edelgard, but you can't actually raise the support level.

Bernie also has the lowest base stats in the game. She's not meant for combat, you should be benching her so she can do fun stuff in her room while you fight to protect her.

I had Mercedes as my Gremory so I went Dark Knight with Annette and it worked pretty well. Might not be the best but the unit diversity was good.

Holy Knights Marianne and Ferdinand, Byleth Blanco, Gremories Dorothea and Nuke-chan and Dark Knight Hubert gave me more than enough healing to steamroll through most maps. The fact most were Cavs or had Physic made it easier. I literally never used Linhardt once I didn't need to.

Warp is nice to have but yeah he's really lacking compared to the other healers.

Well not necessarily. I don't know about Lorenz, but Ferdinand still has trouble giving commoners power and Sylvain only accomplishes very little in a small northern area. It would probably come with time if everything keeps going well, but Eldegard took the Nobunaga route which sped things up considerably even in BL and GD when she herself fails.

Do take care though, their pairings can change really quickly, I think my Claude ended up with Lorenz because they fought next to each other in the final battle.

Yeah. You're probably even safe saving the other A supports for the last few chapters, because you are point capped when you have the available support, so they will never go above low A while the supports you want to hit endgame with will get hundreds of extra points as a buffer.

you get hearts with whoever else is in attack range of the same enemy. So if you have like 5 attack range you get hearts from far away.

Realistically, if you side with Edelgard, you would've lost to the slithers instantly from losing your rewind powers. Her route is basically just a power wank fantasy with no rhyme or reason.
