Just started the paris level

>just started the paris level
Yeah this game is really over staying its welcome at this point. 30 hours in and its clear the devs have really padded the length with fluff

I always remember it getting a bit dull after to leave Hong Kong.

It's a 25 hour game man

I feel you OP, 50 hours in and I just left liberty island

Bout the same here, trying to do every possible path in the same run.

if you try to do everything in 1 play you are not gonna have fun on any old game
back then people just found what they found not following a guide and finished the game

I liked Paris, the catacombs and the duclare castle are great.

Good if baiting. If not, how long could it possibly take for a first run?

Dope. This game never got old for me.

If you got to Hong Kong in under 50 hours you didn't experience the game.

>1000h in and still molesting the female coworker at the UNATCO HQ

Comfy

Not him, but it's totally possible to spend over 40 hours with it if you explore everything, talk to every npc, read every newspaper, datacube, email, book, etc. The game doesn't force you to do so though, so even if you don't hurry, you can finish it in 25 hours.

>its clear the devs have really padded the length with fluff
This was basically half of vtmb, so I believe you.

What does VTMB have to do with Deus Ex?

Retro rpg?

In that I can visualize what this might look like, and I can imagine it might be a tendency of older games of a similar type to overstay their welcome in this way, as if the devs back then considered it better to invest time into fluff segments.
