My best friend has played all SoulsBorne games with the exception of Demon's, he is playing that right now, and tells me its way harder than any of the other games, is this true or is just that the clunkyness of the first game of its kind is making it more difficult for him? I find it weird that the first game would be so hard and so "unfair", which I guess its the reason why DS is the one who upstarted the franchise and not Demon Souls.

I 100%'ed every game in the Soulsborne series around release.

It's just not fun having to sprint all the way across the entire world back and forth because specific vendors are put on far corners of the map. It's also not fun having events arbitrarily open doors/pathways halfway across the world (BB had this too), it's just obnoxious and feels unnatural. I much prefer the split up environments of DeS and DkS3 where the environments are nonlinear and open, but you can freely travel between them.

Really the only appeal of DkS is being able to see other parts of the world throughout, but aside from that gimmick that is cool for a couple seconds, it's just really horrible world design.

Try RPCS3. You can play it on 10K resolution and even though you can't go past 30FPS it outperforms PS3.
