Why de emulatorfags have such low standards?

>low standards
>playing on a shitty TV instead of playing in HD

I'm cool with emulation of older games because sometimes it's next to impossible to get the old hardware or games. Fags that pirate new games that have no intention of buying it are assholes though.

You realise there are hd crts?

Why does OP create threads which incite conflict?

you realize im going to fuck your mouth?

>You realise there are Premium High definition Bags of shit?

god I love those monitors

aesthetics beyond measure

Hd crts have as much lag as an lcd. No point

Isn't it at the point now where a low latency monitor with an appropriate scanline filter is close enough to a CRT?

Maybe it wouldn't be perfect, but I could imagine it's probably about 90% of the way there.

PVM is not the same as a WEGA “HD” CRT

zoomzoom

Yes. But you dont get cancer from that so it isnt good enough for boomers.
>muh pvm
Based retard

>he thinks you get cancer form CRT’s
>makes animal noises over PVM
the real based retard stands up

Please bother to do 2 minutes of research before acting stupid

Can you even emulate this game yet?

What kind of inputs/converters do you need for a monitor like that? I'm looking into them on ebay.

SCART and Breakout cable in the US. If you're in Europe probably just SCART.

I want to save money. I'm a broke college kid now, but eventually when I get a permanent house I want a classic game room with a couple CRTs and a bunch of classic game consoles.

that table looks flimsy

>losers actually pay for console garbage

What's the best crt to play on and where can I buy it?

People's tolerance of input lag is the one that really gets me, it changes the whole feel of the games, but most people don't even realize.

Sony PVM and BVM are THE flagship crt. Be prepared to spend a few hundred dollars on a sub 20" monitor plus another hundred in shipping if you can't get one local. Due to the popularity they've pretty much all been bought up by scalpers from businesses and hospitals who sell to retro enthusiast. If you ever need it serviced you gotta pay some dude in California $400 to service it since he used to work in service back in the day and basically the only person still capable of doing it.

They're the best crt you can get, but the market is crooked.

How would you rate Sylvania CRTs? I have one with a built in VCR and one without. Pulled this off Google images but I believe it's the exact same model

Just get an SD consumer set that can take up to component inputs. Professional monitors are memes.
