Teppen. It translates to "Summit" or "Apex" IIRC. It's developed by Gungho who apparently have experience with these kinds of games and I think that shows. The art is really good for all the Heros and most of the cards, and I really like the CCG/Fighting Game hybrid thing they went for.

I think it looks decent but the trailers have a pretty bad framerate during the gameplay and I want to know how they plan to monetize it first. Capcom released Powered Up, Star Force 1, ZX, Battle Network 6 and Maverick Hunter X in the same year. Maybe in terms of polish, but platforming controls there is still no other series in the entire genre outside of Zero that matches the X series controls and feel. Only X7 and X8 fail in that regard. Mega Man didnt have secondary characters as a major feature until Mega Man 9 (unless you like to count Mega Man and Bass). Even then, their gameplay styles were minimal variations. X series is pretty much an X and Zero vehicle since game 3. If they're going to cut anything, it's going to be Axl.

I just finished X Collection 1 (x1-x4). I’m surprised I came out of this thinking X1 was the worst, despite having the most iconic Maverick squad. Its levels are just so small compared to the other ones, but I really liked how stuff in certain stages got affected by other stages being completed.

X2 and X3 had really cool armor upgrades that elevated the gameplay and made me more hyped to eventually replay.

X4 had perfect mobility and fun bosses, but the gimmick stages (cyberspace and jetski ones, specially) were disappointing. I liked that all of them were long, with multiple sections. Final form of the final boss was also the perfect balance between making you feel awesome as you learn the patterns while harshly punishing mistakes.

Overall:
X4 > X2 > X3 > X1

ZX's mobility is better than Zero 4 or 1 (obviously), but doesn't come close to 2's or 3's.
