Yes. You have stealth so you always start the encounters on your own terms. After getting Last Stand and Hemopsychosis you can trigger it for a full turn of essentially free casting that will put you back into the hypermode which can be used for support psi.

This is a Dominating build by the way, because i don't think there's a reason to play Psychosis on non-Dominating whatsoever.

Because the enemies are not tough or numerous enough to warrant its critical damage. LoC Mind break + neural overload + spirit staff has enough base damage to murder most mid game enemies on normal and hard in one shot without critting.

You can continue with any save, but the expansion was created with mid-game levels in mind and you will miss out on one or two small things if you use an end-game save.

That really depends on what fight you get stunned it, but yes, it could get fucked by stuns like any build that isn't immune to them. You can always up biology to 80 to get bullhead at least, if it's an issue for you.

When it was released, I had to reload a save from before entering Black Sea because those where I already entered it were no longer compatible. So I essentialy had to replay starting with a lvl 16 character, so I figured, might as well add Temporal Manipulation to it to make it more interesting and test it a bit before release. It even got nerfed because of me.

no they're just there to kill after the quest

You have 5 options, basically.

1. If you have thought control - you can kill them with neural overload.
2. If you have temporal manipulation - you can stasis yourself and maybe survive until they disappear.
3. If you have decent HP, you can take morphine and/or aegis and pray you survive. Position yourself so only one can hit you.
4. Fucking run. Close the doors on the way to slow them down.
5. Reload.

Not him but yes, you just have to get the new coordinates and now investigate the other new places you just uncovered.

No, soldiers are not allowed on the second floor, you will be spotted by any guard or officer (unless you have high stealth, which I dunno)
The assasination must be on the first floor, there is a bathroom on the southeast part of the area, the same area with the huge closed entrance, dinning hall, 'trader' and deposit
Kill the officer once he has entered the bathroom and went to take a leak, make sure to close the door, make sure to kill him fast, dont use any grenades
Once he's dead, take his suit and wear it, you will be able to fool the NPCs on the second floor, for Officers are allowed on the second floor, NOT soldiers

No females allowed on the base
They can be killed, but then you will have to fight everyone, so good luck with that

for female chars you either stealth you way in or you kill everybody, a rathound regalia + black cloth tabis/balaclava around 80 - 100 quality and a stealth generator of 80q+ will get you through it

Emp nades immediately remove your entire shield regardless of its capabilities.

Only one of them is somewhat important, and that can be passed with 3 PER, goggles, and some marsh honey.

I remember spending about an hour building my first character. Carefully reading the stats. I managed to beat the game with him, but my build is outclassed by the optimal builds you see get posted/recommended here.

The next build I made was using optimal skilling and feats that everyone knows are good. Critical power, grenadier, etc. Which can obviously beat the game on the hardest settings no problem.

shotguns need mobility, weaponsmith is a melee feat, pellet mayhem is shite, ballistics is mostly a early game feat that is useless late, leading shot > barrel stare and why 13 perception? maybe 11 for the crit feat but perception does not help shotguns that much and you haven't taken a +2 base stats veteran feat

Frag is for light armor/no armor. HE is for armored stuff (big metal armor dudes and bugs with thick shells).

Also you have to throw frags directly at the feet of targets for max damage. HE does the same amount of damage to everything in the blast.

If you're gonna go with 6 STR then commit to burst fire shotties and go 7 STR for Full Auto + Barrel Stare, otherwise remain at 5 and get Leading Shot + Fragmented Chaos and add one more DEX for Grenadier. You can afford to be a Metal Armor dude if you go burst, but even then 6 Agi for Sprint should be mandatory. If you're gonna go speedy, get Mechanics and Tailoring are all you need, on top of Chemistry, if you decide to go that route which I recommend.

if you do the foundry faceless quest first you can save Buzzer without the need for persuasion skill

You'll want less armor penalty if you're relying on dodge/evasion and you want more DT/DR if you want to use your suit instead. High DT suits typically end up being being high DR as well so just make Laminate Plate/Ceramic Plate/Vest of your choice/Cloth of your choice if you want a tank vest.

Adding to this I believe it also affects stealth which is why despite having a coat that does +28 to stealth and pumping the stat up, you're gonna get discovered instantly. Unless you want to look good with dark cloth I'd recommend using Aluminized if you don't like being on fire, Kevlar if you don't like being shot full of holes, or Blast if you're a homosexual.

hammers hit harder (and cost more ap), ignore damage threshold, and have built-in chance to stun.
spears have lots of utility: spear guard is nice melee defence; throw is powerful; impale is crit on demand; sweep is aoe (good with electroshock spear); spear can have the new energy edge upgrade; spears can attack a tile away, including over an interfering enemy.
an important difference is feats: spears have more to take. maybe you want your feats for other things.

spears also want stat and skill investment (dex and throw, unless you skip spear throw, which would be dumb because it's good and fun) whilst still wanting strength for damage scaling. also spears can one-hand with riot shield (another feat), which needs 11 strength. less room for other stuff with spears but they are great utility. hammer smashes things.
