It had some good points, the battle system was good and I liked the story and story/gameplay integration.
However the overworld sections are pitiful, dungeons are badly designed and there's no risk/reward or resource management since you can just turn encounters off when things get dicey. Not to mention there are very few exploitable areas to begin with.
It's like they did half a JRPG really fucking well but just stopped at half.
