Should I just skip to metal age? Or is dark project still worth it
Yea Forums tells you a game is shit
Noone ever shat on Theif1+2 you fegget.
Did you meat to post TI4F cover perhaps, you tasteless prick?
Havok is just a physics engine.
I find it hard to believe that anyone said that Broken Sword is shit. Later titles, sure, but the first two are excellent adventure games.
Dark Project is definitely worth it. There are still missions that are focused on thieving, but they're spread out among tomb raiding and stuff. Pic related is the best mission in the entire series.
Overrated mission.
You can skip, but should you depends. If your more into mansions and noblemen, skip first one, you can play it again anytime.
Also, I have started to believe that the second level of dark project has driven more new players away than any other level.
it's not a very good mission and the visual gimmicks don't really do much for it.
TDP became a stealth game very late into development after being originally intended more like an RPG, which is why the game is very adventure focused than stealth at points and partially the reason why Warren Specter and Harvey Smith went on to design Deus Ex as a hybrid RPG with thief-sized locations
the sound in this game is bloody fucking amazing.
every thing that makes a sound could be made into an asmr video, to put it in meme terms
It's hard to have truly shit combat in a game where enemies die fast.
