you never actually know hard drawing is until you try it out. its really really difficult and will disappoint you to no end. its better to just throw a random decent e-artist 30 bucks and make them draw stuff for you.

drawthreads are a waste of time. you spam your requests and you never get them done. if someone actually does it they will either be from beginners or a very rough lazy sketch. high end full color stuff are usually the artist doing the requests for themselves so they can promote their links or get the next drawthread op pics.

that artist is literally fully booked now. when you got a good foundation as an artist that specializes in drawing something specific, the money will roll in permanently.

It's fuckin' bizarre how completely separate but exactly parallel the "Anime / human art commission" scene and "Furry art commission" scene are. Seems as though anyone doing either one or the other are vehemently against doing the flip side but do virtually EVERYTHING the other side does, right down to personalities and culture as it applies directly to the art.
You could easily look at that price sheet, swap out the 'anime' art for furry art, switch out "No furry" with "No humans" and absolutely nothing would be amiss.

Maybe that's how it works with anime art, which would make for the only hard difference between the two, but it's almost completely the opposite with furry art, at least for the latter. Prices can be slightly more expensive with certain people for NSFW, but generally they don't change much at all, and it's a pain in the ass finding SFW only furry artists. They exist, but not in any great capacity.

Finding furry artists who will draw SFW is the opposite of a problem, in fact it's piss easy to find artists who are willing to draw something that doesn't involve hyper dicks or balloon boobs, the difficult part is finding artists who strictly only do SFW. Especially if you want higher skill / more painterly artwork instead of something more along the lines of simple hard lined minimally shaded stuff. Seems like only the most autistically devoted to being 'clean' won't eventually succumb to the allure of the whales willing to dump truckloads of money into drawing genitalia that takes up a third of the canvas.

Go into the transformers fandom, you will probably find people willing to do mecha there.
