Why arent I excited for disnoys neutered shit with no dismemberment and a cinematic story full of niggers? Against other lightsaber users it raises the tension to maximum as one wrong move could mean your end, on the flip side it's beyond satisfying when you attack a trooper or someone just right and see them fall to the ground in pieces

A lightsaber is not a light baton. Jedi's have used it to cut through thick metal doors so flesh should offer no resistance, having it do anything less than slice cleanly is inaccurate.

Jedi prioritize removing limbs in combat to disable enemies without killing them, removing the ability to do so not only results in lore inaccuracies but robs the player of an extra mechanic where each battle could be resolved without death.

Combat looks like crap, story presents itself as "don't draw attention to yourself" but then has you pulling out a lightsaber the second you're in trouble, and your character is doomed to be "did one cool thing before Luke got off the ground and then disappeared" like every pre-ANH jedi that Disney has been shoving down our necks.

This game looked fucking awful, the stormtroopers just stood there and took slow shots at his as he walked through them. Its exactly the kind of bland looking crap I expect from EA.
Someday we will have a game where stomtroopers run for their fucking lives because "thats a fucking jedi" but for now we have gmod npcs.

I was thinking about this the other day. The single player of EAfront 2 was hot garbage and false advertised but I wonder how much of that was Disney insisting that players can't be the bad guys.
