NOOOOOOO THIS CANT BE HHAPPENING
>Joycon drift is not fixed
Nintendo won but we lost.
Who here uses their Switch mobile anyway?
So the lite version is the same 2 hours in BOTW shit? Imagine even buying that shit if it's true
Model number: HDH-001
Approx. 3.0 to 7.0 hours
*The battery life will depend on the games you play. For instance, the battery will last approximately 4 hours for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Lite has smaller battery because smaller casing
>can't play it on tv
>smaller screen
Yeah It's useless
explain to me why anyone would get the lite version if it's just a normal switch but shittier?
i know it will sell like hotcakes, but why?
It's cheaper.
it's more than half the price in Japan.
if someone can afford the lite than he could probably clench his aashole for a month longer and save up for the real deal
i am sure that even those that could afford a normal one will probably get the lite version, and also the people that ALREADY have a normal switch will get this one too
i will never understand this
Time to finally buy a Switch
Smaller screen actually makes games look better, PPI is a great thing for portables
It's a smaller handheld with better ppi that's much cheaper, what part of that mystifies you?
$100 go a long way for black communities, my white cracker.
yo bruh just take your gfs boyfriends switch like me
are the switches the same size? i have a spare. wouldn't mind switching it out
Read this post because there's a lot of misconceptions in this thread.
>Switch Lite has higher PPI!!!
this is true but there's more to it.
The screen is actually only slightly smaller, and this is going to make text harder to read.
The lack of UI scaling for handheld mode has already caused issues in certain games on the larger switch.
>Switch lite has bad battery life
Switch lite will have better battery life because of the dye shrink
>I'm going to put the bigger battery in my current switch!
It's not a bigger battery so you can't. The new revision is using a more efficient version of the processor.
>Switch lite will be less flimsy
This is a decent reason but not flawless.
For $2 you can buy metal latches to replace the plastic ones in your current joycons and have them grip your switch to feel more like a true handheld.
The best reason to buy a Switch lite is the cheaper price.
Otherwise buy an old switch to hack it or buy the new switch if you care about battery life and never want to hack it.
>August
Yeah it'\s the same system just with a new GPU that has a hardware built in fix for the current exploit it's also on a smaller die so it uses less power thus having a longer battery life.
>with a new GPU that has a hardware built in fix for the current exploit
The exploit was fixed since months in the old systems with a factory patch.
But not on a hardware level irc.
The sticks feel like shit, the triggers and shoulder buttons are pretty bad on joycons, the buttons are fucking small and the unit feels bad to hold. Using it as a handheld feels like a meme.
It's patched in fuses so I guess you could say it's in hardware, too.
I want a switch but own a gaming pc, ps4 and a gpd xd+, is there honestly any point in my buying a switch?
I dont like zelda games.
