What will the system requirements be?
What will the system requirements be?
Hopefully not too much higher than 2016. I'd like my rx 580 to be able to run it at at least medium.
One Xbone.
It is a fucking confined console game, after all.
ID tech game will be optimized properly on PC.
All AAA games are made for PS4/XB1 base spec.
The same as the 2016's
Dumb retard. It’s going to be a 3 year difference.
hopefully the exact same at 2016
as long as it runs at 60fps on base ps4 like the original I don't give a fuck
Doesn't really matter. It'll run well anyway.
It's on the fucking Switch
Expect 100GB filesize but it'll probably tun no problem
I'm actually hoping it's not too high. Doom 2016 looked and still looks great. I just want to be able to run it nice and smooth. I'd play it if it looked like it came out in 2009 if it ran well.
>It’s going to be a 3 year difference.
it's the same engine. Made for the same 7yo home consoles. It will be exact same shit, down to taking a terabyte after install, thanks to "muh megatexturrs!"
One Stadia subscription should keep you covered.
i9 + 2080 Ti as minimum
It’s an updated engine, though. So it will require a rtx 2080 at best.
Honestely, the graphics looks like the 2016's, maybe in open maps you are going to have frame drops but in close rooms, you should get the same performance as the last edition.
I'm really worried about the gameplay speed. It looks significantly slower in Eternal. The dash move seems like an unnecessary inclusion that just makes the game more clunky in order to compensate.
>So it will require a rtx 2080 at best.
No, it won't. For starters, none of the consoles would be able to even try and run it if that was true, which would significantly reduce the available customers.
It will be the exact same shit as 2016: playable on fucking GTX 950M.
Imagine being a low IQ mutt who doesn't know anything about game development.

>All AAA games are made for PS4/XB1 base spec.
Can I max it out with a rtx 2070 super at 1440p? Cpu is i7 6700k
>6700k
yikes
>max out
I doubt you even know what that means.
Play it on very high settings? Not a problem.
Like said : this is still a console game. One with very closed map design, and heavily scripted encounters.
>requirements
>idtech
Doom games are usually pretty scalable
What’s wrong with a 6700k?
>rx 580
My man, I picked one up secondhand for about $100 and it's faithfully played anything I've thrown at it at screen-resolution.
4 cores, stutter city.
>oh jeez i sure hope my mid-range card will be able to run this console game at medium settings
Why do people do this? Do you really fucking think you're going to need at 2080ti to run games at 1440p 60 fps?
>stutter city
What the fuck? I'm still on a mere i7-2600K, and I don't experience any "stutters".
You just don't notice it any more because you've been seeing it for so long. Your frametimes are objectively garbage.
>Do you really fucking think you're going to need at 2080ti to run games at 1440p 60 fps?
Zenimax's brainwashed consolikids LITERALLY think that nu-Dooms are some sort of pinnacles of modern gayming tech. They can't even begin to understand how goddamn ugly and easy to run these games are in reality.
Besides, especially livingroom peasants still can't do real 1080p/60fps in most of their games in 2019. Thus, they consider anything higher to be pure witchcraft.
>Your frametimes are objectively garbage.
No they're not, and it's cute that you just "know" this across the globe somehow.
To max out doom eternal at 1440p 60fps you will need a 2080ti. Same for other games like cyberpunk.
i'm hoping for a 1080p60 with 50% res scale
t. gtx 750 2gb
>gtx 750
Fucking poorfag.
yeah, well, sucks to live in a 2nd world country
source?
More like sucks to be underage.
>system requirements
What the fuck is this the 90s?
Every single game that came out in the last 10 years can run on a i5-2500k with a 970 GTX on 1080p ultra or high.
The games designed to run on a laptop based AMD CPU in consoles can your 10 time as advanced intel skylake chip run it?
Yes.
You're mentally retarded and have no idea about todays game design.
i turn 29 this year, you drooling retard
i was beating the og doom on uv when you weren't even a sperm in your local mailman's nuts
im gonna play it on xbox one x
>3rd person cutscenes
fucking trash game
It on switch. I guess potatoe will do.
ok p*orfag
his ass
a fucking 1060 can max out doom 16 in 1440p 60fps
i doubt eternal will be that much more demanding
Do you have any facts to back that up?
What about Doom 3?
They literally show it in the trailers and in the demo videos they've put out.
Apparently they optimised the lighting pretty heavily so that might help keep requirements low.
Dude this shit is made to run on the fucking switch.
There's one when you fire yourself out of the giant bfg
is this a VR meme?
Its getting a switch port
Figure it out
I have a 2600 and Doom stutters unless I'm on Vulcan. Does anyone else have this problem?
1060/Rx 580 are still more than enough for 1080p 60/75fps, I don't think there's a single game I couldn't play on high settings with my 1060.
Absolutely based.
Since it's designed to run 60fps on consoles, it'll probably be CPU-light but require a decent video card. Same as last game.
Leaked minimal reqs:
OS: yes
CPU: also yes
RAM: some
GPU: somewhat new
HDD space: LOADS
