It's a mission whose goal is to gain the trust from the great khans so that they can help you and your faction in various key moments in the story,im aware that if you see it by itself it looks bland and bad, but if you see the wider ramifications that mission is part of you will understand why new vegas has a better and more intricated story than fallout 3

I wanted to replay Fallout 3 to see if it's still as bad as it was but it's such technological mess. I had to literally pirate GOG version because Steam version wouldn't even boot without crash. Anyway, what are good mods for F3? I'm looking for something like Hardcore mode / JSawyer from F:NV.

I cannot believe the writers weren't hanged, drawn and quartered for this. I know that the majority are shit eaters but this was just laughably awful.

I haven't played that shitty game since the last dlc came out but I remember there being a survival mod that ended up inspiring hardcore mode in New Vegas.
I would also find some mods that nerf the player character, either reduce the rate that you get perks or increase the skill cap or something because pretty much nothing in the game is a challenge once you get to the higher levels.
