I heard this was a good cyberpunk story game and it seems pretty interesting, fun and comfy
Never played visual novels before
Mostly play singleplayer western games

It's good but please be aware you are essentially playing as a regular person side character in a cyberpunk setting. All the big high stakes stuff is happening in the background and to other people.

Learning about the world through osmosis by getting people drunk and learning about what aspects of society cause their problems is an interesting way to tackle worldbuilding. The soundtrack is great and the game is pretty comfy. Everyone is some mix of degenerate, cute and/or cool. Jill is the cutest being that can exist.

It's a very comfy game with nice aesthetics and a really good soundtrack. It's funny here and there. It has cute girls. A really good game for late night comfy sessions with some light drinking and snacking. Some people express that they didn't expect the game to have so little action for a cyberpunk setting, but I believe the game markets itself telling you it upfront. It's all about subverting the dystopian resistance fighter trope and exploring what the lives of the ordinary who are in the dark is like. I thought it was cool.
