bullshit. my entire realm total across 11 characters that farmed raids for transmogs on and off 6 months in a row is sitting at 230k.
blizzard lets gold farming autists buy battle.net credit because they're already paying/being paid into the system in some way. the majority who are in the category of "potential" spenders cannot afford services/premium items for gold.

I was sitting on 2m before I quit back in 7.1 and I only played for maybe 10 hours a week outside of raids. I knew several people who bought longbois immediately on BFA launch. Gold is not hard to make.

So you played through WoD where everyone got millions of free gold and then quit at the start of legion when the there was still high gold gain before BFA nerfed everything into the fucking ground and now the average player can barely afford flasks if they didn't have two expansions worth of gold saved up.

Not a single gold farming strat in current WoW yields more than 10k/hr per character, farmable once per week. That's 180k assuming max characters per realm a week. No matter how you slice that, it's more than 10 hours of doing nothing but farming. And using said method takes well more than 1 hour per characters. You're just doing busywork to justify the gametime someone else is paying to keep you farming monotonously.

Also this is probably your case And the only reason Blizzard is ok with it because you maintain demand for the WoW token sellers. Those days are clearly over now that gold sources are nerfed to shit. Your point is moot, and your argument is on borrowed time.
