He'd be a great pick mainly due to all the possibilities for his moveset. Basically just make him DS3's final boss with all the different spell types and shit it would be cool

idk. My problem is that the chosen undead is just a generic term for your avatar. There isn't a set character, or any really defining traits about it.

sunbro on the otherhand would be an amazing addition in my opinion. Even though we have enough swordfighters i would welcome him. I'd imagine him as a rushdown sword fighter with that fucking lighting lance he throws as his neutral special. also praise the sun taunt

They could have the Soul of Cinder instead, and use an Embering mechanic as well as the different sorceries, pyromanices, etc.. he can use
we already got the Hero though for generic RPG protagonist so idk

Solaire is the chad choice. Most memorable character of the series, and good moveset potential

Just have a CU who can swap between 3 builds Pokemon Trainer style. STR/INT (Moonlight GS), DEX/FTH (Ornstein Spear) and Quality/Pyro (Claymore).

just a strong all around kit from an iconic character. not some overly complex niche bullshit. Simple is good.

I kinda wish that he would have a parry move where if he can riposte for some strong damage. It doesn't deal knockback but just strong percent damage, but is really vulnerable if he misses the parry.

If the final smash is TWoP > WotG spam I'll shit my pants

I'd rather have him swap between Sword/Shield and Greatsword movesets, like a transformation character except he keeps the same hitbox but all his attacks change in terms of power and speed

Do you have any clue how mad casuals and tourny players would be? I fucking love this idea. How strong would the riposte be? Id say at least 18-22% damage.

majority of Nintendo fans haven't played a Souls game and likely won't due the themes and difficulty present in them. Souls in Smash would be sick though just for the music

That's a pretty good percent for the move. It's not stupidly strong that means everyone is going to parry fish, but is strong enough to give the player the advantage.

Thought if he is going to be able to switch to different weapons, what dark souls weapons would he switch to. Moonlight greatsword is honestly a given considering it's a FROM staple.

Except I'd actually play soulsguy. also give him shitty recovery. i play ken. the ledge guarding shit in smash is absolute cancer anyways. just make it so that everyone basically dies when they get knocked off so I don't have to play that shitty minigame.

Same, I don't like "default character creator" type characters. It feels like a letdown to have a personality-less assortment of random abilities representing a game compared to playing as defined mascot characters using their own iconic abilities, it kind of lets down the whole "what if these characters from different universes fought each other" vibe.

Moonlight Greatsword might be cool as a Final Smash. That or summoning the gank squad.

If Dark Souls had a representative he's certainly better than Chosen Undead or Solaire.
He actually has a well-defined moveset with a lot of interesting animations that tie to his theming.
It's a silly idea anyway.

This is kind of an oddball pick but I think it would be cool to have Micolash with a moveset based on the Arcane tools like Call of Ebrietas and Call Beyond.

Because I don't much care for Dark Souls. I'd trade Joker or Hero in for him in a heartbeat, though.
