IMO It might be Hollow Knight but it's really hard to say.
Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Terraria, Dusk, Undertale all seem relatively reasonable depending on who you ask.

Agreed. Games like terraria aren't good as games imo, but excellent autism escapist simulators. Hotline miami is short and sweet, perfect for chads who don't have 4+ hours a day to spare trying to find purpose in a simulated existence. Hollow knight is good too but it really is a game for diehard metroidvania fans, because I got burnt out on it despite my enjoyment.
