The pleasant thing about God Eater is that it's designed to be fucked around with and doesn't really have a "meta" play to it. Just pick what you like.

The game's been out for a couple of months now in Japan, fully translated in English. Comes out in the US soon but there doesn't seem to be any hype, no one seems to talk about it or cares. Guess everyone's playing Duel Links or the card game itself. Also crazy how the mobile game has better graphics/animations/presentation and menus than the console game. I just want another Tag Force game but on console, Konami please.
I liked Toukiden 2 quite a bit, never finished it though. Refuse to pay 50 for 1 and I never see it on sale.

It’s just legacy of the duelist with link rules. I heard the new format hurt lots of decks that rely on special summoning without links. I’d prefer a Yugioh game with some soul and voice acting like from duel links but with normal rules and not gacha shit. Or maybe multiple formats would be cool.
