If it's on sale, sure.
Depends on what the third pillar is, I don't give a single fuck about VR or multiplayer shit. I'm hoping it'll be a big exploration overhaul but I think it's going to be a shitty fucking hunger mechanic with a bunch of farming garbage.
Waiting for Star Citizen.
so you're going to wait 10 years then?
Still have my launch copy so yeah. It'll give me a break from Elite Dangerous.
I'll give them props for not giving up on this game. Hopefully this fixes everything that was wrong with the game.
I haven't touched it in a year but I'm excited to go back to it in vr.
Is it just a VR update?
The third part of the update better be something good, VR shouldn't be a priority, that's what they should do after giving me civilizations to explore
The game is flawed at its core, there is no fixing it.
Large scale multiplayer, VR, and some third thing they haven't announced.
>all these shill posts praising this game that Yea Forums decided it hated from day 1
Did you actually think that was gonna work?
>we r legion
There's a reason why they haven't talked about the third thing, it'll probably be major content wise.
People aren't praising it though
>won't add planet rotation, even as an option
>said it's too confusing for most people so they axed it completely
>will never add manually flying between systems with a quasi-hyperdrive kind of engine where you could find random stuff along the way even though it was supposedly possible

>NOOOOO, we agreed on hating on this game, you guys!
faggot
I already own it, it's excellent
Ten years is just the wait for technology to progress enough to make the game people want Star Citizen to be feasible.
>numale's onions
okay gamer
I enjoyed NMS for a while, but it got old.
The biggest issue is how grindy the game feels. I never feel like I'm making progress because I always have to stop what I'm doing to do repetitive tasks. I have to get more sodium for life support, more oxygen, refuel my multi-tool with carbon, get more launch fuel, sit around and wait while refining materials, etc. A lot of the base building features are introduced very slowly. Polo even has that stupid mission that just involves surviving on a toxic planet for 8 hours of real time. The story is dull with absolutely nothing memorable as a high point other than the ending which is just a giant middle finger to the player.
I love the idea of exploring the galaxy and interacting with aliens. I love base building. I like gradually making progress and upgrading equipment. But I really hate that even with S class equipment, the fun is interrupted with the same chores I had to do on the first starting planet.
Yeah I'll be able to retire so I'll need something to doodoo

>the game is flawed at its core, there is no fixing it
>release the game as a single player game
>literally patched in an actual real time online multiplayer
>originally the player didn't even have a model
>literally patched in customizable player models, outfits, emotes, third person camera angle
>game didn't have base building or land vehicles
>literally patched in a shit ton of them
Come on user, do you even remember the launch day version of this game? It was horse shit then, and it's now absolutely nothing like it was back then. I give props to the hello games team for this massive turn around, they really shat out something dull and spun it around big time.
Gimme one hell of a sale and I might.
they never really made it fun or interesting to explore beyond your first couple systems or planets though
