For Honor is reddit repellent.

Solid concept. Shit devs. Spaghetti code littered with bugs new and old. Retarded art design. Still have almost 500 h in MP though. Cause it's just solid fun.

care to give some examples about new and old bugs? I've played it for 100 hours a while back and couldn't notice anything gamebreaking.

They went in the right direction by adding another barefoot girl but they have to do more than that!

They do have a skeleton crew working on this game trying to keep it alive, so for what it's worth, the fact that this game still has somewhat of a large following for all the bugs that's existed should at least list the devs as "competent" if nothing else

Revenge was reworked like half a year ago and still bugs out from time to time. Not sure if traps and other feats still counts as second player dmg, but it used to. Those are the only 2 I can think of ATM but I haven't played in like a month or so. But alot of them aren't gamebreaking, just needlessly frustrating. I recall chinese monkey man kick feat not working properly 1/3 of the time as an example. There were also some bugs from launch that got fixed like a year later.

Well yeah, they nailed the core combat to feel fucking amazing. But not sure if that's even the current, as you call them, skeleton crew. Or people who have long moved on to something else. Because Black Prior doesn't feel nearly as good to play as the characters from launch or up to marching fire. Haven't played weeb axe lady though, maybe she feels solid. And I'm gonna get hammer viking when he launches, he looks solid fun.

That wasn't the actual problem, the playerbase becoming way smaller was not avoidable. It's not a fighting game per se but the thing about players improving all the normies that fail to improve giving up and leaving (which is the vast majority) is a thing that happens to every fighting game or similar games

I honest to god think that "Honor fags" wouldn't exist if the game was named anything BUT "For Honor".

Just like how Rick and Morty wouldn't attract such a retarded fan base of pseudo-intellectuals if Rick was a wizard instead of a scientist. Seriously, the show would be exactly the same if he was just a Wizard, you could do all of the same shit just like how in "For Honor" it could literally be the exact same game but if it was called ANYTHING ELSE like "For Glory" or, "Knights vs Samurai vs Vikings" or something, you wouldn't get people constantly fucking whining about "Honor"

The game literally had Mixed Reviews on Steam because all of the reviews were people complaining about others "spamming" Guard Break. WHAT THE FUCK? Literally just hit the X button and tech it, you fucking idiots.

Imagine if Street Fighter had mixed reviews because "the opponent kept spamming fireballs >:(" For Honor players are that retarded. Same with 80% of Smash Players but I digress.

These "Fighting Game Lites" like For Honor, Absolver, Rising Thunder, ARMS and Smash to a certain extent are so obnoxious. They basically trick normies into purchasing them, then expose them to shit that real fighting game players get over Day One. Then, all those normies RRREEE like fucking idiots and think it's the games problem and not theirs.

Steam reviews are the most useless shit. If it's not because of them being too bad then it's because of technology issues because they have weird ass screens that literally no game supports or it's straight up review bombing

The fact that it's called for honor and attracting honor fags is half the fun. Ganking in brawl and having people cry in chat is what kept me playing for a good month or so.

If you didn't have to pay for the new classes and the chinese niggas I would've still been playing. Dropped when I realized they were just going to keep lumping more and more DLC onto everybody. Grind was awful. Which is all a shame because the universe, aesethetics and combat were actually all pretty fun.
