an actual good fighting game covering all arks would only have space for JoJox8, Diox3, Kars, Kira, Doppio, Pucci, Valentine, Rohan, Bruno, Yasuho, Jobin, Polnareff and Koichi.
The ideal coverage ratio would be doing three parts in one game.

Honestly this is still 100% fine as long as its 20 characters in a game with enough depth where you don't really think about it. The issue with a lot of barebones games that do the whole no MC/main big bad characters games is they're so shit you actually think about the fact they lack them. I mean some people are obviously sad but you get what I mean.

What deconfirms it possibly being GG? It wouldn't change the fact Rev 2 is still the best fighter on the market but I want something to draw in the masses again since GG still deserves the hype even more so then UNIST that I was thrilled got the main stage. Evojapan 2019 top 8 was still as hype as ever and competitive as ever. NA players like LostSoul Elven DEB and Krizzie are still grinding like mad and there really isn't too much UNIST/GG player crossover anyways similar to a lot of BB players just playing BB.

Arc sys has multiple teams, pretty sure team red is still focusing on GBFV and the new GG

Besides, the method they use to make their games look the way they do (the """engine"""" is just Tencent Engine) usually results in stuff looking really bright with a lack of detail. It would look good for DBZ but I can't imagine the same style would work for JoJo.

HFTF style games focused on one part are the only way to get minor villains that aren't Mariah in, which is a shame.

So it doesn't have a great timing imo it would either be tacked onto another games end announce or be announced just outta the blue. The issue is. GG is niche af. Its probably still "thee" anime fighter when its in its popular states. But its still so niche that dumbing it down without a big catch like BBCTB versus gimmicks and other franchises to raise its fake hype levels more isn't a great idea atleast not to as large of a dumbed down extent.

Is there anything Arcsys could even do with the IP that Capcom and Cyberconnect2 haven't already done?
