To sum it up simply: You're the manager of a facility that generated energy by making monsters and other bizarre things (called Abnormalities in the game) happy. and contained. You need to collect a certain amount of energy every day. The Abnormalities can break out and kill your employees, so you can equip them with better stuff to handle stronger Abnormalities and punt them back into their containment units better.
It's got a lot of micromanagement aspects to it in places.

The problem is when it melts down with white damage beefed up. There's literally nothing you can do because the white damage gets fucking retarded way before you can actually kill it, and it'll cause whoever dares go in there to work on it to panic.
I guess it's possible to get a neutral result from a panic, though? Not sure.

As long as you have an employee with good armor (e.g. NT's) and 100+ in Fort/Justice, you'll be fine, it'll only downrank them to IV

If i remember correctly there isn't a penalty specific to SO if a dude panics

One panic while I was doing the strategy to stop SO mentioned earlier in the thread, due to him melting down when White was amplified. After that, meltdowns ignored his pasty mannequin ass, my prayers must have been answered or something. Dusk was meat clowns, by that point I just had to avoid the rotund fuckers. Train isn't so bad provided you take shit nice and slow without any speed up.

New to this game, in what order should I prioritize stats? I'm using repression everytime its on high probability because I've heard its a rare stat, but dunno if I should prioritize over the other 3.

They're all useful for different reasons. Fortitude and Prudence raise max HP and SP, and are basically needed for dealing with tougher abnos and suppressing Ordeals. Don't neglect them.

They're all useful, it's just that Justice is a bit tougher to come by. And it comes at a premium to upgrade during the hiring/standby process. The movement speed boost is real nice from Justice though.

What ails you, user? The game does require you to keep a lot of things going and memorize a lot of little rules, so I understand if you find it difficult sometimes.

Fortitude is probably the most vital to have early, try to make sure nobody you care about has Fortitude 1. Temperance is also important because it increases work success rating. Justice is not as urgent to level but is super valuable as your facility gets bigger and you fight more nasty things, as it boosts move/attack speed. Prudence is not quite as vital as fortitude because panic doesn't necessarily mean death (as long as you can snap them out of it), but don't neglect it either, because having to drop everything to go handle a panic still sucks.

TL;DR Fortitude and Temperance have the most impact (IMO) early-game, but don't neglect any of them. Better to build all-rounder employees rather than "specialists" in one stat.

Play the tutorial, everything else is via unlocking those managerial tips first, and experimenting with how to control your agents.
Also, always do your missions as early as possible, the upgrades you get from completing missions are obnoxiously important.

I know she's on Biggest Bird weapon. She has two main attacks in final phase - she either picks an employee and runs towards them, or tosses Gold Rush to make the portals and then runs through the portals after it. In the screencap you posted, the portals were there, so she did the GR version of her final attack.

Is there any reason not for me to take ALEPHs? From the ones I have, even the shittiest ones have benefits that vastly outweigh the negatives, like gifts that activate red shields or white damage immunity, super high boxes, and with their gear, most don't even end up being that bad to fight, except for a few.

Taking ALEPHs is a sign of you growing as a manager and makes you more attractive

The only reason not to is if your facility can't handle working with it (CENSORED is especially terrible as a baby's first ALEPH if you're not on a second playthrough with really good black resist gear). If you have even one guy that can consistently pull off a good work result (or neutral in the case of Mr. Music) on whatever it is without shitting himself, it's a non-issue.

If you can handle them even when they break out, then it's absolutely worth it. At that point, the worst they could do is melt down or make a bad situation worse.

Having them makes it so I can hit the quota before Noon on most days even though I stay a little longer to gun for gifts. Silent Orchestra is my buddy, the gift he gave me let me cheese every suppression except Gebura.
And the benefit is not even remotely worth the cost usually. At most a WAW weapon and they're ok trainers sometimes, maybe with a half-decent gift, most of the time not (and some of the best HE gifts are on some of the most horrible ones, like the Fetusphones). Meanwhile my little ALEPH friend gives me full immunity to a damage type and an easy clear 1/3 for the Gebura mission.

Happy Teddy is an easy ignore though because he has no counter (even during Binah he's not that rough since the amount of times you'll touch him is so minimal), and Schadenfreude is the best HE in the game despite the average gear, mostly because aside from training he's the easiest thing to suppress in the entire game, easier than foreskin murderer.
The others are hot fucking garbage though. Woodsman in particular basically just fucks you for the entire rest of the day due to his death condition. It's not even like he's actually strong either when he does get out.

Oh Jesus I just realized the screenshots are two different days, thank god. Did you at least do the missions for the upper Sephirah at some point? You're not going to be able to do Tiph suppressions until Day 36(?) anyway so if you clear a dusk (if you haven't already) and whip through the suppressions you should be back on track.

Once you start getting used to the Abno quirks for each one, the game's core suppressions will change how you normally operate the facility. All the little things about the gameplay that you would take for granted, such as room healing and work types, would then become a focal challenge for you to beat.

It'll be a slow process but once you get that armor you're pretty much set for most other ALEPHs you can encounter.

I think your best bet would be to use someone with high Prudence and with Snow Queen's armor, and do Insight work to get a decent enough success. Maybe try using the note to raise success rates and minimize the fuckup damage you take? Eventually you should be able to buy Blue Star's armor first and then you're good.

Save LOB to improve stats when needed and get new nugget people (because you'll need more). Try to train them as much as possible by making them work on Abnormalities, however, that's free and helps more.

You can raise stats through work. It's better to save LOB for when you absolutely have to replace a dead high level employee.
