Xenoblade 2 is a nice game.

What gameplay changes do you want to see in the next game, i want for the environment to be more involved in battles like killing amalthus by throwing him into the hole

No more gacha. It was okay for a one time divergence to make XC2 stand out but honestly it just wasn't fun. Also I want limb damage from X to comeback, even in mainline titles. And PLEASE make jumping pleasant again. I don't care how unrealistic it is, jumps completely halting your momentum in 2 sucked fucking ass.

From the thumbnail, that pic looked like loads of eyes on a body.

Expanded overworld exploration options. Let me swim underwater.

Why did they nerf the jump, were they mad about sequence breaking or something?

Since no one answered me las thread, I’ll ask in this one
How hard is this game? Is it just a walk in the park with some waifus along the way or do you need an actual strategy? How much do you need to grind?

What kind of spin off would you like to see, action game ,musuo ,tactical rpg ,rhythm game?

Attached: 1562699639466m.jpg (768x1024, 131K)

A Mushou, for fuck sake. Just xbc2 alone has enough for a 30+ roster.

Once you get the combat system, it's not that hard.
You do need some strategy and get how to use your tools effectively, but once you do (and do some sidequests/have some not shit builds) the main story isn't all that hard.
The postgame superbosses on the other hand, really fucking are.
But you will have to run away from some of the more powerful foes they sprinkle into every area.
Difficulty is extremely customizable though, so you can make it as easy or as hard as you want.

I don't think I could possibly disagree with you more.

The ability to switch control of party members in the middle of battle, or at least a better range of party commands. Torna already came close to the first one with the Blade swapping thing, but the party AI in these games gets infuriating sometimes and I really want more options to mitigate its stupidity.

There are a couple of difficulty spikes and a few notoriously obnoxious boss fights, but other than that it's pretty easy on the regular difficulty. The hardest part of the game is just making sense of the tutorial and the battle system (which initially seems way more obtuse than it actually ends up being), after that it's largely smooth sailing. There's also an even easier difficulty if you just want to blast through.
You shouldn't need to grind much at all if you're just doing the main story, at least for levels. If you're rushing through really quickly you might need to stop and level up field skills to progress in a few parts, but that shouldn't take too long.

Attached: Dz7DR_mXgAAxbYc.jpg (1595x2048, 351K)

Have BOTH collection orbs and collection points. Have collection points start nameless like in 2 but then have them show their content like in Torna after collecting them once. Reinstate the Collectopaedia and have it tell you which specific part of which region has a higher chance of yielding the collectible once you've registered it in. Eventually, you can do a sidequest that allows you to unlock/make special gear that makes it so every collectible orb that's part of an active collection quest shows up red instead of blue. Have a Hollow Knight-style bestiary that fills in the more you kill a certain enemy, first just listing its name but eventually its lore, height, weight, areas in which it is commonly found, weaknesses, strengths and loot table. Give us the ability to search the bestiary by enemy name or loot name.

Bros, it is almost 2 years. We need something from Takahashi soon.

Shulk and Elma's voice actors if anyone doesn't know

Attached: va.png (392x370, 96K)

Main game is fairly easy. You control when to cash in exp gained from quests or exploration, so if a particular boss is giving you trouble you can usually give yourself a few more levels and even the playing field, or you can cash all your exp in and be overpowered all game and ruin it for yourself if that's what you want. Usually, being 5+ levels above an enemy means you'll destroy them, but the same is also true for them. As long as you do a few sidequests and explore each continent q little bit, you should never have to grind (unless you're aiming for 100% completion, in which case you WILL have to grind, not for level gains but for gatcha rolls). There's a lot of post-game superbosses and a Challenge Mode DLC if you really want to test your strength, some of the challenges require complete knowledge and mastery of the battle system to beat.

Nani?!

I want to believe.

Musou is the obvious choice, but I'd also really like a mon game. I think the creature design of the series is pretty underrated all around.

Xenoblade Warriors?

Well, one of these tweets means Adam Howden is voicing a character in a game, which is always a good thing, because his voice is amazing.

Xenoblade 1 and X rerelease?
I mean, both of them in one game would be too fucking obvious, there's no way.

probably a warriors game, given xenoblade was one of the ones koei said they wanted to do

Or Xenoblade X2. Or a port of X that has extended cutscenes/combat dialogs. Remember that Howden was also a voice option for Cross.

Those tweets are pretty far apart.

XBX2 is coming out in three weeks.

Attached: 20190618_155737.jpg (977x542, 108K)

Howden's probably talking about Dragon Age, and why the fuck would Glass need to audition again if people are assuming this in reference to Elma?
Not to mention the tweets are months apart. Think for five seconds before you get excited about this crap.

Just pirate it on N3DS/Wii U or emulate it on Dolphin. Combat system can get fun but you have to be creative with your Arts, such as using Tempest Kick or Gale Slash to either turn 180° or go through enemies respectively so you're well positioned for a Thunder as Dunban (which only works if your back is turned to the enemy), or stacking a maximum number of statuses and DoTs on the enemy and wait for the most powerful Say Sorry possible on Riki (which damage is multiplied by the number of debuffs on the enemy, at the cost of removing them all), or using the knockback on Sword Drive to push enemies off a cliff or War Swinging into a group of enemies to maximize party and talent gauge gains as Reyn.

Ether energy.

But when I said "bowl cut" the last time, user angrily told me it wasn't.

It's good for what it is, but not the way someone should experience XC1 the first time. That game lives on its contextual scale of the Bionis and Mechonis areas.

That's not too bad, at least in that scenario you can take your new bro and go looking for more core crystals to resonate with. Or hell, buy a waifu from a core hunter.

Joke's on you, all common Blades are cute!

Common female Blades actually are pretty cute. They don't get enough love around here.

Attached: orig[1].jpg (963x2670, 198K)

Considering generics have the potential to be really fucking strong I don't think that'd be so bad

I never really got where the common blade hate-boner came from to begin with.

Justgot to the part with the group picture in Torna.
My god Lora got a hardon for Jin.

Their stats are crap for the most part and before a patch you couldn't skip their intro animations, so you had to sit though a lot of them to find rares or uniqes

People just automatically assume that rare=good common=bad 100% of the time.

Attached: IMG_20190728_173033.jpg (996x1505, 218K)

Remove Gatcha and in all honesty I'd like more action-based combat.
Torna was a wonderful step in the right direction.

IMAGINE

Attached: 6.jpg (513x513, 79K)

Action all the way.

What happens if Adenine eats food? Where does it go?

Leave action combat for a spin off. I didn't like the overall direction Torna went in. All they should take from it is how fast mechanics were unlocked.

How come Klaus doesn't want our data, mane?

Attached: nyarly feel.png (542x461, 86K)

Some things are better left unknown

Attached: !.jpg (683x384, 38K)

I really liked the lack of a Gatcha.
That the party could move so fast and the switching between human and Blade was great.

Torna was great but it was too easy, simplifying the combo system was mistake but it did many things right, if they fixed the combo system and give us more options combot would be perfect

Attached: IMG_20190701_072011.jpg (2048x1524, 563K)

The lack of gacha in future titles is a given, not sure why people seem to stress about it so much. The party moving faster was nice but not really a good enough trade off for how mindless the combat was overall.

Pneuma is best.

Personally I don't like side-content being locked off by luck-of-the-draw.

I hated the lack of combo tree, it felt like a real step backwards in that regard.
The switching to heal the red part of the healthbar was great, on the other hand.

Still prefer the main game combat.

Crossette is the most cute blade.

Attached: IMG_20190303_101131.jpg (873x1197, 172K)

I didn't say anything about that, but okay. I would have liked more of the rare blades to be obtainable through quests myself.

Why imagine when you have data?

Attached: img0127.jpg (1280x1799, 323K)

I realised after I typed, but am distracted all the same.

Are you going to buy xbx2 on August 30?

Attached: 1561048007548m.jpg (480x1024, 59K)

Do you guys think combat is complicated to a fault, or are all the mechanics healthy by giving it more longevity?

I seriously, seriously HATE FUCKING NIGGERS

This guy knows best.

Attached: 75379306_p0.jpg (1400x1139, 628K)

Attached: Cute Crossette.webm (372x400, 2.84M)

It's honestly not that complicated, it's just one of those things that's almost impossible to explain concisely even if you know exactly how it works.

The complexity makes the battles a lot more dynamic, so it really is a good thing.
Looking at Torna's combat, I really hope Monolith didn't learn the wrong lesson from people being confused about how the main game combat works.

Because it's not that complicated once you wrap your head around, it's just explained poorly.

One theory is that Crossette was a common blade and became a rare blade in the exact moment rex's party opened her core and she was imprinted with the party love for pyra. Her hatred for Mythra came from just interacting with her for some time, as the literal polar opposite of Pyra is not surprise a pyra fangirl would immediately dislike her.

Attached: IMG_20190326_115259.jpg (1079x1500, 332K)

I can see why someone might feel the combat is complicated at the start, but it really isn't at all. I personally like how layered, interconnected and meaty it all is.

The only fault is locking 3 Blades up until the end of Chapter 3. A few Mechanics being introduced even late into the game is actually a good thing as they were tied to the story. That's actually well thought out Battle system & Story integration. When the battle system still allows for mechanics to be added even later, you know it's solid.

Attached: Battle system enjoyment over time.png (675x545, 58K)

X's combat was way more complicated

She is looks like Aya and Seija magical lesbian baby.

Already pre-loaded it.

Attached: IMG_20190704_125124.jpg (1572x2048, 299K)

Yes, I hear you can pet the dog thing and decided right there and then I would.
Is there a 2hander in the game? I'm down with a baton or whatever but I really want good great sword combat.

To this day I still don't know what half the stats do exactly and what any of the buff/debuff icons mean in X despite putting 300 hours in it. Also took me until post-game when I read online combat guides to grasp how Overdrive really worked and what bonus effects the various Arts had on it.

The axe stand.

X overall design was waaaay too overcomplicated. Why do I need 3 fucking sub menus for extra stats and abilities? Why do I need to play bajillion nodes to make money? Why is everything so needlessly convoluted?

It better have a playable Nopon character.

Attached: sbr2dkl1uim01.jpg (811x1200, 844K)

>One theory is that Crossette was a common blade and became a rare blade in the exact moment rex's party opened her core and she was imprinted with the party love for pyra.
That's not how it works. Blades aren't Pokemon that just 'evolve' into a rare once and that's it. They take in data with every resonation, to varying degrees, and it all accumulates gradually. It doesn't matter if Crossette the firework-focused Blade already existed as a in her current appearance and skillset before her resonation in XB2, she can still pick up things like her adoration of Pyra from whatever data she picked up off her new Driver.

40 max is what I would pay for this game. I also don’t see the resemblance to xenoblade

you know that shit was supposed to look like the Conduit, I wish they had explained more backstory in Torna, who were the first people to go up there and learn about Elysium and the Conduit and the Architect? It wasn't Amalthus, he just took the cores, the people from Indol knew more, the emblem behind the praetor's throne depicts it all

that tweet of caitlin was n't xenoblade, she posted what it was days after she posted the tweet, don't believe reddit bullshit and adam howden's role is probably dragon age 4 which is supposed to be revealed soon

I entered this thread to see the big titted cuties, not this ugly as fuck bitch, post more of the other 2

Cool. Any more advice? Or should I just go in as blind as possible?

I don't think anyone actually HAD been up there before Amalthus. Klaus's dialogue implies that, at least, and if anyone would know for sure it'd definitely be him.
The Praetor says something along the lines of that the Aegis was a representation of the Architect's light from the revelations of Indol's founder of something, so maybe some dude from Judicium got ahold of a book or something from Morytha with pictures of the Orbital Ring and the Conduit and everything and based a religion around it. (And really, any jackass with a salvaged telescope could probably see the structure at the top of the World Tree just fine, so it's not surprising that Indol would have depictions of it all over the place).

But even though it isn't too hard to guess at this stuff, I also wish we had learned more about all of this in Torna. It's really interesting stuff but it's only brought up in a tiny number of scenes.

Her massive hips where always there.

Attached: 1517412462121.jpg (2048x2048, 704K)

Other than only get one or two named blades on rex. Then don't summon with him again.

A great game.

If you like it you can buy the DLC, so all the sidequests and play through a prequel campaign with different mechanics.

Attached: 29EFBCE4-2197-47E7-8BE0-C706FDB7B947.jpg (900x699, 155K)

You just mentioned the issue, they know about the architect, they know that there's ONE god and that there's a place called Elysium above the world tree. They wouldn't have known about the architect in a book. I'm sure Klaus didn't mention him because he was irrelevant to the problem at hand, some Indol man must have gone there and done nothing but speak to Klaus and look around the place and even see the Conduit but I still wish they talked about it. In japanese the aegises are called "heavenly holy grails" because Malos took the title of the original "aegis" which was a literal grail, that's the explanation behind the strange title, why would anyone call a grail some fucking glowing stones. The praetorium founder was probably actually a good guy who wanted to spread the light of the architect after he heard his story but then humans be humans

no

A JRPG with literally hundreds of hours of content, rhythmic battle mechanics, plenty of world to explore, and a troupe of lovable characters.

how the fuck do i beat gadolt without grinding until i'm super overleveled? he just one shots my whole party at level parity and I'm using pretty decent gear, I also tried naked Dunban and it doesnt work either.

I just finally finished the game.
There was a lot of things at the end that seems to reference the first game, so I'm wondering if it's worth to play it now? How similar is to XBC2 and how well does it emulate on a middle range PC?

Thats fitting as both of them had weird flesh shit happen to them and the church hates them. Nia wasn't locked in the basement though.

One of the worsts RPG so far that I ever played in my entire life.

I finished the game and never touch it again, the story is 5/10 and the rest is just cringe.

Cringeblade Chronicles should be a proper name , so many 12 yo anime cliches and Rex is literally Naruto.

also reminder of the red flag about poppi destroying the world mentioned in morytha

It's not just that Klaus didn't mention anyone else climbing up there and taking to him, doesn't he use wording along the lines of "when man finally" to describe Amalthus's ascent? I can't check now, but if that's actually it I feel like that pretty much rules out someone coming before him.
And single-god religions aren't exactly a unique concept. Indol's religion got some things right, but if it originated from someone directly talking with Klaus, where would misconceptions like "humanity used to live in Elysium, then the Architect cast them out and sent the Titans to help" come from?

400 hours and no KOSMOS.
I chose to stop. I already beat the game, but dang that was awful. Had literally every other blade but her.

Also, X was the best, followed by 1, followed by 2. People might disagree, but X was so darn wonderful, 1 was good but needed more, and 2 was just lootbox RPG for the shiny legendary character,

he says when the man finally arrived i did nothing when *he* took logos and pneuma, talking about amalthus not specifically talking of humanity, also my theory is that atleast partial knowledge of the old world comes from the memories in their "dna" so maybe that's part of why people believed that, or maybe klaus told the founder that humans used to live there and over time the knowledge blurred and the new humans believed that they were the ones who came from there

Attached: IMG_20190617_203722.jpg (1535x2048, 252K)

Attached: IMG_20190524_070325.jpg (1500x840, 206K)

One of the artifacts Amalthus looks at prior to climbing the World Tree looked like an ear piece, my guess is that at one point the Indolines managed to enter in radio communication with Klaus and literally took whatever he told them as the Word of God, basing their religion around it, and the Aegis was built to ressemble Klaus' verbal description of the Conduit.

I had forgotten about that shit, they never even explained it but it didn't look like a radio to me, it looked like a little robot leg

Yes, Xenoblade is great and emulates well on Dolphin. It's relatively similar to Xenoblade 2, though instead of shifting through different Blades every character has direct access to all their equipped arts, and all of them are on timed cooldowns instead of recharging on auto-attacks, and you start all battles with your Arts charged without having to invest in a character node. There's some more differences to gameplay but they're small enough and the tutorials are good enough (AND RE-READABLE) so you shouldn't have any problem adapting.
