Overall, pretentious. Max is a somewhat good character and everyone else is truly forgettable.
Plus it's more visual novel then game, so it was a bad movie.
4/10, would've had more fun wandering around in DayZ.

Last season was shit and mae all your choices useless, Chloe is a stuck up cunt that ruins max's life constantly but people forgive her bcs muh lesbian sex heeeheee. Some of the characters Overall had fun playing it and rooted for my boy Warren as Max's man. Loved the campus setting and i dindnt mind Max at all as a protagonist infact she was kinda fun to play as.

I really liked the missing girl, suicidal Kate, mean girls clique, and red herring Preston plot points. I despises hanging out with Chloe in a diner or junkyard. Not only is she annoying, the gameplay in those sections was boring. Even with a train about to run over Chloe, I didn't care. Whereas I did give a shit when the teacher had Max drugged up in the dark room.

It was 50/50 I guess. I really do love Kate's section though. I kind of wish she was involved more. There's something interesting about having time powers as a teen and being able to prevent or fail to prevent a suicide of a bullied friend.

Good for the first two chapters since it gives you the idea that choices matter and their consequences will show up as seen at the end of Chapter 3 when it all seems to go to shit.

It goes downhill right after that since Chapter 4 gives the middle finger to 3 and you go back right after it starts, then Max and Chloe become retarded and make the stupidest choices in this game about having any control about choices, ending Chapter 4 with an incredibly obvious "plot twist" you can see coming during the first five minutes since the game doesn't even try to hide why is there a separate diary entrance for a character that is "irrelevant" and forces you to believe it's innocent and doesn't have anything to do with the plot.

Chapter 5 is a pain to go through and ends with a binary choice so everything you did so far was change minor dialogues since the story has to play the same for you to reach this final decision.

Final decision is:
A) fuck every decision you made so far by getting rid of everyone so it doesn't matter anyway who was your friend or enemy
B) make it so nothing actually happened

waste of time and pretentious at it

Obviously it is light on the game side, but what do you anons think of it for its other merits.

I agree that some characters were incredibly frustrating but I am glad it worked as a story. They rarely acted outside of character. Warren was a beta cuck and i didn't even kiss or hug him in the last episode.

Glad some people could see it as a visual novel or whatever you might call it. Indeed, when Yea Forums gets over itself it can produce some valid criticism. I didn't like some of the over cliche writing like all the wowzers and the hellas. But overall I liked the mystery and the character conflicts. Should maybe have been a mini series.

The concept idea is great but extremely disappointing. I came in expecting some epic scifi adventure and got a literal teen soap opera visual novel masked as something with actual game mechanics. Also the fact that literally none of the choices matter at the end is retarded

Agree 100% Kate was lovely and wouldve liked to see more of her, I also Thought David was cool.

Yeah it did feel a little flat at the end. I picked to save chloe so I got a driving into the sunset smiling ending. Very weird reaction. Did joyce and based david die? What about Alyssa the unluckiest bitxh in the world? Or cuck warren? Or drone lady? Overall though I liked the characterisation and the interplay between the characters and the mystery plot. It would have bette rif they had treated it as a straight up mystery though, without the photo time jumps or maybe the actual time powers themself.
