Did you >capture all enemies >collect all purple coins >unlock every hat/outfit >purchase every souvenir >acquire all music tracks >complete all of Toadette's achievements >collect all 880 unique power moons >buy more power moons to max out at 999
If you did all of the above then you can say negative things about this game. For me? I think forcing you to use motion controls for some of the moves (waggle the joy-con to super jump while possessing a frog) was a bad call in my opinion.
Lol I did all this except the souvenirs but this is retarded gatekeeping. Usually if a game has flaws or mechanics I don't like it's easy to identify them in the first few hours.

Not gonna lie, I almost peed my pants during this part!
wwhy the fuck would i do this when i could spend time playing one of the other hundred games in my backlog that are actually fun to play.

Did 100% i and I can finish/Any% it in about 2 hours as well, even got Top 100 at a Koopa Race Leaderboards. Game is far too easy and no matter how good the movement may be, optional challenges & making your own fun off of skipping through the Kingdoms with Mario's amazing abilities will never be as fun as carefully crafted, well thought out, intentional challenges. Although to be fair I don't know how they'd be able to make that happen when Mario is just so broken in Odyssey. That's why I'm opposed to Odyssey 2. 3D Platformer with such a strong honorary Double Jump trivialises everything the game has to offer, and if it isn't Mario you're controlling, it's some one dimensional enemy for elementary puzzle solving, which as short as it is, isn't fun. The two gimmicks of Odyssey ( Captures & Cappy as an extension of Mario's Platforming Abilties ) work against it. Still better than a slow ass game like the Galaxy games.

500 moons and the corresponding dark side level was enough to know it sucked
I'm proud to say that I am one of the few privaleged gamers to have 100% Super Mario Odyssey. This game was literal perfection. A joy to play. I had a giant smile on my face the entire time I was playing the game.
>If you did not eat that entire plate of bullshit, you can't say anything bad about it

If you all the power moons you need to do all the other shit you know
Eli Hernandez
Yes, I did all that. I don't have many gripes aside from maybe the overabundance of moons, in my opinion 500 would have been fine

Nintendo are you listening? Take your time making the next 3D Mario. I can wait. I know you will always craft perfection, and that types of games need a little extra time to cook in the oven.
